I was wondering the same. Is JG enough of a man to appreciate his limitations and step aside for someone that can take the Boys to the promised land? If not, we could continue to stay in the rut for many years as Garrett is only 52.

Im curious too. Seems to me the coaches overachieved up until the Rams exposed us. The Rams are the vastly better team in the trenches were it matters most...it showed all night in spades.

To me Woods is a good backup. Collins too because he can’t stay healthy playing as many snaps as he does.
Crawford is best as a 3T not RE.
We need a quicker Crawford unless Gregory can hold up vs run.
DLaw getting his labrum repaired should help a lot.
Heath has needed to be replaced for 3 years now. He’s a special teams guy.

I don’t think they are and even if they were they aren’t so much better that we should be allowing 7 yards a carry.
We’ve been a great run defense all year. What happened shouldn’t have happened,
The pre snap motions in the backfield caused it more then them just lining up and dominating us.
Our linebackers heads were spinning with that motion and then they hit us with different runs.
McVay outcoached us. He outcoached Richard.

JG ceiling is where it has always been, but at least he actually reaches his ceiling this year.
Jerry is contend with never winning a SB again, and barely making the playoffs no matter the talent level just to keep the money coming in.

Rams slumped a tiny bit late in the year - really not much - which is understandable. NFL seasons are long. But that is a loaded football team. It is probably the league's most talented team.
The Cowboys had a great run after the 3-5 start. They looked last night like a team that had run out of gas - a step slow over and over again.
I find it encouraging that having played so poorly and really having few breaks go their way, they managed to stay in the game for 58 minutes. They did some things right.
But the Rams are a better team, and it showed. There is a reason teams play to earn a bye. They were fresher and faster.
The Cowboys are young. They have a few holes. But this could be a team on the rise. I didn't enjoy the beating, but I like a lot of what I saw this season.
