Broaddus on possibility of coaching staff changes

Maybe so but I guess other coaches just have a better plan to begin with.
yes maybe ,but don't care.Last night NOTHING was going to stop them. We got dominated inside the trenches and that's where we lost this game. Nothing was gonna change that outcome.

I wont pretend to be a great xs and os guy but maybe we needed to play to defend the run and not stay in the nickle all game.

I dont think there's a single team that outclasses us the way the rams did based on talent alone. Our players sucked but I dont believe they were in a position to succeed last night. We looked completely unprepared.

ok...since this IS a fan board..let me pose a question. Do we even DARE bring in Mike McCarthy for an interview? Would he entertain any notion of being the OC..OR HC IN WAITING? My guy,as you all know, is Kris Richard..but Im just asking.Thoughts?

not for me....the guy has had HOF QBs that basically do their own thing so I don't see him making a big difference on offense...

LOL.

Didn’t we make changes last year?

How many times are we going to change assistants and the roster before we realize the problem goes beyond that?

Holy crap, we might be the dumbest franchise in the NFL right now.
:hammer:

He’s a great coach.

Awful coordinator though but Richard has been our coordinator this year and he is responsible for that debacle last night as far as I’m concerned.
wrong. Marinelli and the players on the field.Richard MAYBE to some degree..but THIS mainly is on the 2 interior DT's..altho Collins had a few nice plays.DLAW was MIA. Richard SHOULD BE THE HC HONESTLY.

How is Marinelli responsible for that game last night?

He’s been the coordinator only in title this year.

It’s been Richards defense from the get go.

And if you’re going to blame the DTs then don’t skip past the linebackers. Scheme had more to do with the debacle then our talent. The presnap motion, misdirection, and pace of the offense.

Our front 7 was not properly prepared for all of that.

HMM..ok..the rams turned around handed the ball off and pushed us back ten yards off the line all game. THAT WAS A VERY SIMPLE GAME PLAN and they executed it very well. We weren't in nickel all game. We stacked the line many times and still, same results. WE GOT BEAT.

not sure if I think Richard is ready for HC, but if it means supplanting Garrett, then sign me up - it wouldn't upset me

CANT BELIEVE your going after Richard like this? WOW. The man has been a Godsend for us. Im sorry, that dog wont hunt. Face it, we got dominated from start to finish.

So we give Richard credit when they play good but it’s Marinelli’s fault when they play bad?

Richards been in charge of this defense all season and the guy who has been a nfl head coaching canidate was in charge of it last night as well.

That we did. Sorry its just hard to fathom players talent levels being so much higher than ours a week after stonewalling the best rushing offense. I thought we were alot closer to Philly or Chicago defenses. I have to believe we could've matched up better but maybe we just need more talent. Or maybe its a combination of the two.
