Broaddus: Standout Players & Notes From Cowboys' Rookie Camp

Uh...no comments by Broaddus about our #1 pick?

And this?
"Jones and LSU defensive lineman Lewis Neal were by far the quickest and most successful in beating the blocker. "
Meanwhile they are raving about Watt at the Steeler rookie camp.

How raving? Or Buddy Holly "Rave On" raving?

love the size of Noah Brown. It’s impressive the way he comes off the ball with a lot of moving parts – but Cowboys wide receiver coach Derek Dooley will tighten his routes up. He was able to do the same thing with Dez Bryant at that size. Brown had a couple of double catches but should not be an issue because on the other chances he was able to snatch it cleanly.

this I like

I'm not concluding anything one way or the other. But isn't it a bit odd that Broaddus spoke about a bunch of players...including undrafted guys...and not a word about our #1?
I love the info Broaddus gives, but he is also very biased against prospects that he doesn't approve of Dallas drafting. You can hear it in his voice that he is still upset about the Jaylon Smith pick from last year.

Interesting. He wasn't high on Taco before the draft?

He had him as his #42 player, so he didn't hate him, but of the DE's available he had TJ Watt and even Basham higher on his list. Every time I head him talk about Taco on the draft show he seemed to think of him as more of a 3-4 DE.

What made him hate the pick was that he wanted Kevin King in the 1st round and then draft a DE like Basham or Rivers in the 2nd round.

Yep, they are amazed both of his knees held up!

It's not size that counts, it's the motion on the field.
When typing this out were you deciding to type out the most obvious thing possible? If so pat on the back for you. Your post has zero relation to mine.

I didn't know they picked up a 6'10 tackle. Mother of Jaysus he is now my biggest hope to make the team.
He sounds stiff. Why would you establish him as your biggest hope to make the team? From the looks of this report he wouldn't even be a good addition to our charity basketball team.
