The problem with that group is size. BW and Moore are both size limited and their upside might be limited to slot CB. I would like for the last CB spot to be a big, developmental type player. In a league full of monster sized WRs, they at least need to try to develop bigger DBs.

Could never say it this well.

I agree we need some length at CB and S. The receivers are just too big these days to go without some long tall sally's at DB.

They need length, enough speed and agility, hips and the ability to tackle without undue amounts of down time. You cannot ask all these quick fast lightweight corners to come up and make tackles well.

Taller CBs would be good and im sure every team would like it aswell. The problem is these taller CBs dont cut in in the nfl because 1 they're bigger and more stiff in their coverage. And 2 they compensate in college by using their hands more. You cant do that in the nfl. Peterson is just rare, and Sherman was bad when he got in the nfl they spoke about this today on mike and mike i think it was. He just busted his butt and become what he is today.Id rather have a guy Mo size that is a playmaker, like Chris Davis. I just think with a DL who can pressure the QB alot of these problems with the secondary work itself out.

You're speaking in absolutes when none exist. Larger CBs are the future of the NFL. You can start trying to develop them now, or you can play catch up later.

Everything is switching to bigger CBs? Seems like the best CBs are the one that make plays, and seems like more of them 5'10 guys are fairing better then these taller guys huh? Dont get caught up in media all over the Seahawks height. They are virtually the only team in the nfl thats been able to find the right combination. The only old guy in the int leaders is Rolle these other guys are very young, so saying this league is switching over to bigger cbs is wrong. If you can cover u will do good.

Int leaders
Richard Sherman cb 6'3 - 8
Brandon Boykin cb 5'10 - 6
Antrell Rolle s 6'0 - 6
Tramaine Brock cb 5'10 - 5
Tashaun Gipson s 5'10 - 5
Logan Ryan cb 5'10 - 5
Earl Thomas s 5'10 - 5
Alterraun Verner cb 5'10 - 5
Darius Butler s 5'10 - 4
Jarius Byrd s 5'10 - 4

At one point, that was the argument they used about bigger [insert position here]. It will happen because it is the only logical response to current NFL rules with the size of WRs in today's game.

The Seahawks are able to get game-breaking pressure rushing 4. If we can develop the ability to do that, it makes your Linebackers and Defensive Backs a lot better.
