Gut-punching analysis by Bryan Broaddus and Voch Lombardi. The Saints coaches/playcallers came prepared for the game vs Cowboys. The Cowboys coaches/playcallers were totally unprepared and outcoached.

Jerry Jones might need to consider hiring young coaches from yearly successful programs like the Shanahan or Reid tree.

What say you?

A lot of blame being placed on players.

IMO, coming in completely unprepared and being able to make adjustments leading to a blowout is becoming a staple of McCarthy's tenure. Buffalo, SF and GB last year and now NO this year.

Coaching is really underrated and is probably Jerry's true achilles heel. Let's talk David Carr. Right now, he looks like a top 5 QB. In the past, people thought he was trash. I think he is the same player but just put in a good situation by his coach with good teammates.

Until Dallas gets a disciplinarian coach with some tactician coordinators who prepare and adjust at an elite level, Dallas is always going to have a ceiling on how good it can be.

Anybody else notice something different about Prescott. It seems like he can’t see over the line. It’s not that he can’t read a defense, he can’t see the defense twice. He jumped off the ground to throw the football. That’s why he’s floating it to the outside. He has to get it over the defender. The Pits are getting taller and he’s getting shorter.

It’s not that. It’s that he got paid and doesn’t care anymore.

It’s not out of the ordinary for him to act like a deer in headlights when the team isn’t performing well anyways so why is this performance “different” from any of his past ones?

Jerry's not gonna hire some hot shot new coach he can't have control over. No coach worth his salt is gonna want go work under Jerry. The only ones that will are washed up old guys who just want another shot at nfl coaching. Why come to a team where theres no accountability from the very top down? Any other gm woulda been fired 26 years ago. Until the Jones family realizes they have more money than they can spend in 2 lifetimes and sails off on the bravo Eugenia, the Cowboys franchise is doomed to what we have seen. All hype. No substance.

I agree. I truly feel that until we hire a coach staff that A. isn't trying to get by on prior success from old teams or B. Doesn't have ties to the Jones family then we're always going to be stuck like this

Dak has always tended to jump throw and/or throw from some off balance platform for seemingly no reason. His failure to get that under control is one of his biggest problems.

Gone through plenty of coaches over the last three decades. The team’s front office only holds them accountable. Which is why McCarthy did not receive an extension-to be the scapegoat if things go south. Then the new hire will represent hope and new beginnings. If you go through 7 divorces over a 30 year span, maybe there are other problems than the people you are marrying.

I think there is something wrong with his shoulder perhaps. there is a definite difference between his throws this year vs. last year.

I'd like to hear from somebody besides Broaddus. Are there any videos out there from Kurt Warner or perhaps an unknown YouTuber casting blame on our coaching or scheme? That would be more convincing.....
