I know that he's not the most popular scout/writer on this board. But I enjoy his commentary just the same, and it tends to be a good conversation starter on the zone.
Here's my thought's, piggybacking off of The Broad One (read his thoughts first):
I am really excited to see Whitehead and Beasley in the upcoming preseason. Whitehead may not be the fourth receiver, but putting both Beasley and Whitehead in the slot positions of a 4 receiver set could create some serious mismatches.
Gus Johnson could be there 1 yard getter. But I would really hate to see the Cowboys show their hand and only use him in that capacity...and I'm not sure he is good for more than that against most NFL defenses. Granted, if you YouTube his highlights he break's away at times but I can't see him having that same type of success.
I can't imagine the Cowboys allowing Scandrick, their top corner, to practice while battling through something. That just doesn't seem smart at this juncture of his career and at this point in training camp.
I'm not sure Randall Gregory's abilities are going to show up this season like some may start to think based off Broadus' gushing.
