Honestly, I'm going to pick on Risen. I honestly think there might not be that much of difference in the NFL when it comes to Bowers and Schoon. Bowers looks like a little better college TE, but the NFL could equalize what makes him so good in college, I think.

GIve it a year when Schoon puts on 12-15 lbs and maintains his speed, quickness.

Fans are also going to be surprised by his YAC, I predict. :)

Schoony will be clutch, and you'll eat your silver and blue soup.

Yikes.

Hyperion-level Kool-Aid.
Go watch the routes that Schoonmaker does run. The only thing he lacks in college production. But that isn't really an indicator for the NFL. He's got the tools to be great. He just wasn't on a lot of people's radars.. I generally trust McClay more than my own evaluations, so that's a big reason why I'm optimistic. I see that he's probably onto something here.

Last year, when I said Hendershot could help the offense, several trolled me in the same way you are. We'll see, I guess. I'm not really worried about being right or wrong. I enjoy the process of seeing how things play out though even if I am wrong.

Schoonmaker is solid and could be above average, Dalton Schultz caliber.

Picking him in the 2nd was a bit rich but GM Jerry has no accountability and his son can't manuver up and down the draft board so they tend to reach for the guys they like.

Saying Schoonmaker is comparable to Bowers is a tad unrealistic.
