I don't think they pull the trigger on a #1 technique DT in round 1.

Nor do I think they take a safety that high.

Realistically, who do you see them taking there, assuming for argument's sake they don't make a trade? I know a lot of people would like Donald, but I fear he'll be gone. Barr? Howard? Mosely?

I'd prefer trading down.

I'd consider an offensive linemen. I think Ford is a bit of a reach at #16. If Mosely were there, that would be a consideration.

But there were many that thought they would take an interior lineman early in the 2012 draft.

I don't think you're going to see a safety drafted anywhere between rounds 1-5.

I like the Jimmie Ward pick but I agree with you, Cowboys will not likely take a DB in first 3-4 rounds.
