Know it's time to move on but wanted to share one more quick nugget........other words, think most fans completely underestimated Broncos D. Many of us looked at their QB and the fact Ware had retired and assumed we had it in the bag........

Dez Bryant had 7 catches for 56 yards and a TD vs. Denver. Here's what the Broncos did to the top WRs last year:

Valid point so Dak gets a pass ( which is probably the intent of the post ). The part that makes little sense is that the Broncos defense was 19th against the Rush the last 2 years so what explains our anemic rushing effort? And FWIW, Rivers threw for 3 Tds and 65 % passer rating against them just last week

It was a buzzsaw game for us... they took control early and dominated in such a way that our bread and butter offense was ineffective. Punched our OL right in the mouth.

Great teams look bad from time to time-- NE looked awful at home against KC week one. It happens.

I am glad for these two facts:

1. The L was a non conference
2. Every other NFCE team has to play them too

Hopefully this is an early wake up call that makes the team focus.

Was Rivers playing them IN Denver?

That's probably the difference.

Broncos have been a nightmare for opposing QB's, IN Denver, DURING September.

I think the Rivers thing has to dea with familiarity in the situation- they player there every year.

Dez had a bad game as did the whole team. Time to move on.

With all due respect we usually hash over the game till the next one is played and than we can commiserate over that one. We are still in the gestation period

Are we really still talking about this Denver game?

Enough already.

Nope, not till Monday night. One more day to proclaim our observations and opinions. If the players can express themselves why can't we?

If we were talking about the Danver game we lost 51-48 than I'd be with you. 5 tds

I believe Dez is the one getting a pass here.

Cowboys fans were arrogant and misinformed when it came to the Broncos......they may have been inconsistent last year but that secondary was the best in the league.

No team in his league can go out there and have 3 cornerbacks guard the opposing teams best receiver.

We didn't thinik we'd lose 2 cb's and have only 2 left for the 2nd half of the game. Awuzie played only 2-3 snaps . As for arrogance, the Bronco fans and their media were just as much if not more. Le'ts see what the Bronco's offense does when our d is fully healthy with all our guys back from suspension or injury, and we aren't playing without 3 cb's (Scandrick, Awuzie, and Carroll).

Facts don't matter and the following points remain: Dez Bryant sucks and is no longer relevant, Dak is fundamentally flawed...also this should be Tony's team and we all miss him.
