Know it's time to move on but wanted to share one more quick nugget........other words, think most fans completely underestimated Broncos D. Many of us looked at their QB and the fact Ware had retired and assumed we had it in the bag........

Dez Bryant had 7 catches for 56 yards and a TD vs. Denver. Here's what the Broncos did to the top WRs last year:

Wow. Thanks for sharing. One more reason we should have kept after the run game

I posted before the game last week that the Broncos had not allowed a 100+ passer rating in 22 (now 23) consecutive home games. Here are 10 notable QB performances at Mile High, all in the last two full seasons plus.

Luck 76.2
Flacco 38.2
Rodgers 69.7
Carr 79.0
Brady 56.4
Newton 69.5
Luck 64.3
Rivers 48.8
Brady 68.2
Prescott 68.6

hahhaha, keep trying to convince yourself it was all the Broncos D that was the problem.... their D just exposed some weaknesses in not only the Cowboys team, but the coaches. When you go up against very good teams, coaches matter. Game plans and schemes matter.

Broncos fell back to earth against the Bills, Siemian showed his pedigree and the defense seemed vulnerable. Tail of two weekends.

Home vs Away
I know that the boys were not the team that showed up last Sunday in Denver, not sure how they went to the whipping post so willingly, many have cited the altitude and I agree it can contribute. The broncos fanbase in that stadium is one of the best, much like Kansas City which thank the admins we are playing in Dallas. Ron Leary showed why de deserved the big contract in Buffalo, too bad the other Olineman showed why they are not. Maybe the mystery will be revealed tonight in the desert of Arizona...

Dez doesn't qualify as a top receiver

Cowboys fans were arrogant and misinformed when it came to the Broncos......they may have been inconsistent last year but that secondary was the best in the league.

No team in his league can go out there and have 3 cornerbacks guard the opposing teams best receiver.

Dez doesn't need 3 guys to cover him. One good corner is more than enough coverage to shut him down.

According to FO, the best defenses against #1 receivers last year were:

1. NYG
2. DEN

Surprisingly (to me anyway), ARI was 10th, despite being 3rd on pass defense overall. Where they made hay was against TEs and RBs out of the backfield. They were awful against #2 receivers: that means you, TWill.

Through the first two weeks of this year, the best defense against #1 WRs is the Rams, next week's opponent. (Huge caveats on that, though: it is only 2 games and there are no opponent adjustments are in there yet).

It may be tough sledding for Dez until the GB game.

And yet they couldn't contain the tyrod Taylor to Matthews connection.
Matthews 20 yards/completion
Taylor 126 qb rating
No picks
One team was feeling pretty good about their big win last week

Ok.....? My comment wasn't about Dez. It was about how good that secondary is. They have 3 guys who can guard the teams best receiver....they don't have just one guy shadow someonez

Dez still can't drop that pass that he dropped
same for Witten..if he would have caught that easy TD pass..he would have been like 9 catches in 12 targets with 2 TD's...Witten is still Money all the way in his 15th year
