No. That entire staff is walking the tight rope right now. Fox and company are gone and the wily vets that didn't contribute are next imo.
We don't need Ware back. He is a shell of his former self and he would take away some of the leadership that this team now has.
Not sure about the "leadership" thing, but we certainly developed a hungrier edge without him around. His departure was basically a departure from the caste system we had in place for a while where most of the starters were well paid and hence not challenged to compete. I like the fact that there was diversion away from that culture and I hope it continues.
I dunno. Ware completely disappeared the last couple months of the season.
Having said that, the snap counts for guys along our defensive line were very reasonable in comparison. If he were to come in and be part of the system here, I'd imagine he'd hold up better than he did in Denver.
If Favre retired and came back 89348308347394 times, what makes you think Peyton won't? He'll fell better in a while and return for another season. Whether that's good or bad for Denver remains to be seen. I, myself, think it's sad to watch him decline. He was a stunning QB at times...
What? Ware disappeared I find that hard to believe.
Anyone see the entire Denver team quit in the fourth. Demaryius Thomas and Sanders literally STOPPED blocking and started watching the score board while their RB was still trying to make a play. Bunch of quitters those ponies. Quit during the Super Bowl. And quit during a playoff game. Say what you will about Jason Garrett but this team rarely gave up. They fight tooth and nail until the end. An overlooked characteristic that many analysts never mention.
