Maher is going to show he's over the "yips" and will do well for the Broncos, while the Cowboys will struggle to find a kicker better than Maher was last season.

I thought Maher did fine last year. Brought alil stability to the kicking game. 90% FG is fine.. the 3 missed extra points suck.. but hey. We’ve had worst since Bailey suddenly dropped off. I’m actually bummed he won’t be back. That said, it would be nice to find a young Kicker that’s cheap & could hold it down for awhile. Ugh.. finger crossed.

I was rooting for him and his feel-good redemption run last year but he lost me after the WC game, I never would have been able to trust him in big moments after that disaster. Glad he found a job elsewhere though, sounds like a nice guy.

The dude maybe the best kicker in the NFL. Def one of the biggest legs. He had one bad game. He's gonna make a 70 in Denver.

Guess it finally forces the Cowboys to move on and seriously look at other kickers.....i felt they were keeping their eye on him as soon as that Aubrey guy misses a FG or XP. I think he may surprise and win the job. I still don't trust Maher and now kicking outside in cold and snow weather may not help him at all. Good luck to him though.

He actually kicked it 90% he was a top five kicker in the league all the way to the very last game and only miss was extra point against Washington and then it it bled into the Tampa Bay game but it didn't lose us any games I still think the Cowboys were ridiculous cutting the guy without giving him a chance to compete in training camp he was one of the top kickers last year period end of story now we have a couple that we have no idea how they're gonna kick under pressure we saw Brett Maher kick many field goals under pressure one a few games I remember that game with back-to-back 60 yard field goals because of a time out or I don't remember icing something...
Literally over the last year and a half he's been a top five kicker and he's just sitting out there and now we have two unknowns that somehow fans are demanding better Brett Maher would be better...
So he's off our list now how about that kicker that just got cut by Carolina the Carolina fans seem to think he should have been kept but he was pretty solid last year guess he's gonna be on our list..

I'm glad someone signed him. He kind of stunk the first time, then he was so friggin good during the season (Pro Bowl worthy IMO), but after that post season performance if he came back here I wouldn't have been able to ever feel confident in him again.
