Broncos sign Brett Maher

He has been good so far. Accurate and has a strong leg for kickoffs as well.

Those were more than yips . I’ve never seen a worst stretch for a pro kicker . I’m sorry but when MM has to contemplate 2 point conversion on every TD it’s time to get a new kicker .

I don’t remember that, they usually don’t make a rule change during the season. He just ran into a bad case of the yips.

They didn't change a rule. They just told the refs a week before the playoffs to pay more attention to said rule and cited a few teams getting away with it.
Maher collapsed immediately thereafter.

2018: Missed some silly kicks, made some crazy long ones.
2019: Awful in anything longer than 30 yards, cut.

2022: Looks like prime Dan Bailey with a bit more power during the regular season, biggest choke job in the playoffs I have ever seen.

So somehow Packers nation seems to be full of positivity letting go of Aaron Rodgers Mason Crosby and a handful of other players I don't even know because I'm not controlling your page and yet we can't be positive about any changes we made..lol
