Cool…I had just seen so little sample size that I’m glad others have more info on himHe has been good so far. Accurate and has a strong leg for kickoffs as well.

I mean...even if that were the case, are you suggesting that we should have kept him?Maher is going to show he's over the "yips" and will do well for the Broncos, while the Cowboys will struggle to find a kicker better than Maher was last season.
Agree x10,000....was a HUGE mistake to give up on him.Maher is going to show he's over the "yips" and will do well for the Broncos, while the Cowboys will struggle to find a kicker better than Maher was last season.
You actually think that they will not have a decent kicker?Agree x10,000....was a HUGE mistake to give up on him.
They didn't change a rule. They just told the refs a week before the playoffs to pay more attention to said rule and cited a few teams getting away with it.I don’t remember that, they usually don’t make a rule change during the season. He just ran into a bad case of the yips.
Actually, they don't. 2 kickers in camp is enough. They can sign another one later if needed.Boys need to sign Michael Badgely who the lions just released. He missed only 4 FG’s last year and made all of his extra points.
I really don’t think it was what caused his collapse, but who knows. They didn't change a rule. They just told the refs a week before the playoffs to pay more attention to said rule and cited a few teams getting away with it.
Maher collapsed immediately thereafter.
Yup.Those were more than yips . I’ve never seen a worst stretch for a pro kicker . I’m sorry but when MM has to contemplate 2 point conversion on every TD it’s time to get a new kicker .
Yeah. Could be coincidence, but that's the timeline and events.I really don’t think it was what caused his collapse, but who knows.

2 in camp is enough. If one isn't working out, cut him and bring in another.Hope one works out but will see.
Feel bad for him? He is a millionaire.Brett has to be the biggest roller coaster player in Cowboys history.
2018: Missed some silly kicks, made some crazy long ones.
2019: Awful in anything longer than 30 yards, cut.
*skip a few years*
2022: Looks like prime Dan Bailey with a bit more power during the regular season, biggest choke job in the playoffs I have ever seen.
I feel bad for him but my god it wasn't like it was one mistake to forgive, it was every damn XP.
Looks like ole' gal got benched. Why are you here discussing Cowboys talk when it's apparent you're a Packers fan? Didn't you guys just let your kicker go can you not troll our area and go over and talk Packers with the Packers fans seriously you don't know anything about these two guys one of them could be the next greatest kicker of all time...
So somehow Packers nation seems to be full of positivity letting go of Aaron Rodgers Mason Crosby and a handful of other players I don't even know because I'm not controlling your page and yet we can't be positive about any changes we made..lol
