Broncos Split On Pick.

If you were Denver and were presented with the following two scenarios, what would you take?

1. Peterson
2. Phil Taylor

1. Dareus
2. Aaron Williams

I could see how Peterson is entering the mix.

this is Rosanna Rossana Danna speaking and I don't understand why the broncos want to spit on their draft pick... don't they like the guy...why take him if they don't like him...Its just not a civil thing to do....

Me too.

I think the quality of depth at DL trumps the depth at CB in this draft. So, with that being said, you could see Denver taking the best CB available and taking their chances of nabbing a quality DL in the next round.

Doubt it. If Darius doesn't go first overall and Denver takes PP, then Darius is definitely gone at #5 to Arizona. Gabbert is gone at either #3 or #4.

I think Arizona would strongly consider Gabbert or Von Miller over Dareus, if one or both is available.

I still say both will be gone by the 2 nd pick

I think Carolina takes - Dareous - why because Riveria was a D lineman and he knows the importance of a dominant D lineman - and lt me ask any one
would you want Newton as the face of your Franchise - I sure would not

pluse the can wait a year for QB

As it stands here are the top 8 prospects at QB for the 2012 draft based on a concensus of Scout.com, NFLDraftScout and Walter Football average rankings.
1. Andrew Luck, Stanford (Projected #1 overall)
2. Matt Barkley, USC (Projected top 5 pick)
3. Landry Jones, Oklahoma (Projected top 5 pick)
4. Nick Foles, Arizona (Projected late 1st/early 2nd round)
5. Terrelle Pryor, Ohio State (Projected early 2nd round)
6. Tyler Wilson, Arkansas (Projected mid 3rd round)
7. Kellen Moore, Boise State (Projected early 4th round)
8. John Brantley, Florida (Projected mid 4th round)

altho Fox likes a good D line -

so I see both of them gone by the second pick

:lmao:Landry Jones. A top 5 pick

50 mill guaranteed on a rookie wide receiver is asking for trouble.

50 mill guaranteed on any player is asking for trouble. AJ Green is one of the least risky picks in this draft and Carolina (who could use a lot of things, honestly) sorely needs some weapons in their passing game.

If we could land Dareus that would be something

Yeah but they need someone to do the passing. Without a QB AJ Green imo would be a overpriced wr with mediocre numbers. Sound familiar? :)

Tell me about it. I bet he seems so far out of reach that they are not even considering him.
It is pretty assumed that he'll go 1 or 2.

They can get a passer next year or maybe claussen develops further. This year is NOT the year to be drafting your franchise QB.
