The Broncos' WR Brandon Marshall keeps "toasting" Pacman Jones in these Cowboys-Broncos practices. So one think I am looking for in this upcoming preseason game is for Pacman to completely shut Marshall down when they meet for real on the field. The Broncos (really, Marshall) are acting as though they are beating-up on the real Pacman Jones. But I remember reading somewhere that Pacman holds his speed back a bit, and takes more chances, in practice than he would do so in a real game. I hope that's true because I would like to see Pacman shut Marshall down on Saturday, just to shut him up.

Can you tell I'm jonesin for some real football (even if I have to settle for pre-season action)? :D

He should practice as he plays, but I'm hoping he does cover better than he has been come game time.

I expect Jones to be a considerable upgrade from Reeves last yr but I don't expect him to be a shutdown corner or takeover Henry's job.

He needs to be solid and not try to be spectacular and get beat. This defense is good enough without him trying TOO hard.

Sorry Marshall will most likely be out of the game by the time Jones comes in. so doubt that happens

When the D starts hitting and the pressure is coming, I have my money on Pacman to do what he does. Either way it should be entertaining.

A lot of this Pacman getting burned stuff is happening in one on one drills.

Not even the great Deion Sanders would be great in one on one drills.

Its designed for the D to fail.

pacman is rusty as hell right now..Hopefully by season opener he'll be ready to go.

However with that said. brandon marshall is real damn impressive athlete...He's built like T.O and runs some impressive routes. He's making Pacman better if anything.

Not true, because Newman is not playing due to injury.

Wow Marshall is beating Adam in 1 on 1 drills were the QB has all day to wait for the perfect time for the WR to get open:fogeys:

Pac-Man, unless he has changed since college, is a gambling player by nature.

With those types of players you have some that results in great INTs and/or TDs, but at the same time you have gambles that don't pay off.

It's clear Marshall's jealous that Adam got suspended for a year. That's his real goal... he wants to be suspended longer than Adam was. The way he's going, he'll get there.

It would be funny if they tested him early and he took it the other way for six.

There is definitely a big difference in one on one and games. But others are looking better in practice. It's obvious Adam is struggling and is rusty. More than I'd have thought. I thought he was good and young enough to overcome a year's layoff. Not true apparently. And it seems he needs to be working on his technique and footwork a lot. I don't think Campo's little talk to him was a one time thing.

But I do think he'll overcome all this. He's a gamer, too. There are a lot of people who play better in games than practice. And not because they aren't trying in practice. Same reason you can pick it up in a playoff or big game.

He'll be okay if he'll listen and not try to wing it on athleticism only.

I am surprised that he continues to struggle every day....is he making any progress at all? The season is right around the corner, and he is still playing like the first day in camp.

What gives?

Hello! Guys! Pacman is an average football player, Marshall is a stud. Pacman wil get better, but he is NOT the second coming of Deion, not even close.

Are you basically saying that Jenkins and Scandrick are better than Pacman. If so, is Pacman just a return specialist...do we even need him????
