Pac-Man, unless he has changed since college, is a gambling player by nature.

With those types of players you have some that results in great INTs and/or TDs, but at the same time you have gambles that don't pay off.
Great point! And actually, if our front 7 gets after that QB, you can bet that Pacman could have a career year, because all passes will be short and off, and with Pac's gambling style, he'll jump a ton.

Are you basically saying that Jenkins and Scandrick are better than Pacman. If so, is Pacman just a return specialist...do we even need him????

I'm with you. Now I'm disturbed, Disturbed.

Hello! Guys! Pacman is an average football player, Marshall is a stud. Pacman wil get better, but he is NOT the second coming of Deion, not even close.

Pacman was arguably the best all around corner the year before he was suspended..........

will there be another deion? Maybe he is the closest thing since him. To not call him a stud is a mistake.

I've said it a hundred times recently... these drills greatly favor the offense.

Pac isn't Prime Time... but he's going to be a very good one for us.

There's no shame in being beaten by Brandon Marshall. He has some personal issues, but on the field he is one of the league's rising stars. IMHO he has the same stature, talent and ability as T.O... I think Marshall is going to be a special player in this league.

if he routinely gets beat in real games, I'll worry

even at that, I kinda always thought he'd need 6-8 games or so to really round into form...he'll have a bigger impact the 2nd half of the season IMO...Mike Jenkins too

barring injuries, if people are going to get us they better get us early in the season...because once guys like A Jones, Jenkins, Spencer and F Jones really grasp what they are doing, we're gonna be really really good

I wonder do people realize how hard it is to come back and play after a 1 year layoff... Pacman Jones won't admitt but he's not close to being in playing shape and it shows on the field. He won't be back to the point where he's almost 100% ready until midseason...

When the D starts hitting and the pressure is coming, I have my money on Pacman to do what he does. Either way it should be entertaining.

I don't know why people think AJ is going to see some elite CB. He never was in Tennessee. He was still developing and COULD HAVE gotten there, but he - in his NFL career - has never been close to an elite CB.

And add in a year off and he won't even be the "Solid" CB he was for awhile. It's gonna take several games for him to get there, not several practices.

THEN, maybe he'll continue to develop and eventually become an "Elite" CB, but it won't be this season.

The Broncos' WR Brandon Marshall keeps "toasting" Pacman Jones in these Cowboys-Broncos practices.

But I remember reading somewhere that Pacman holds his speed back a bit, and takes more chances, in practice than he would do so in a real game.

When I saw "toasting" I thought they were drinking and "toasting" in his honor? lol

I had thought that that was the consensus on Jones.

Which BP has just confirmed below. Thanks
