Actually, we can predict all we want.

It's whether we end up right or wrong in the predictions is the point. This is what is called an assessment based on past history as well as general direction in which the team is going. I'm not sure if a 'Skins fan like you has the intellectual capacity to understand this though.

No reason to get into personal insults mate... especially concerning intellectual capacity.

And yes, I am basing my opinions on past history. If the Boys would have showed up in Spades today... I'd be giving my respect, but they folded like usual.

If you don't like, I suggest you go elsewhere. You started with the insults, and they're going to be returned to you 10 fold, especially today.

They can say and feel anything they want about it cause they won. There is nothing anyone can say about it now that makes it better.

I'm confused. ;)

What is a 'Skins fan doing, talking about showing up when the team he is trashing, i.e the 'Boys, beat his 'Skins twice, won the division, and won a playoff game, all the while his team sits at home at 4-12 as bottom feeders of the division?

This is rich, a Commander fan trying to piggy back on another teams success of the day.

Spouting history and 'when it matters'.
When it matters, when it doesn't, the tradition in Washington remains the same, folding like origami and trying to join in the celebration of what another team had to accomplish for your team.

Go collect your off-season trophy.

I can't wait for the trip to minnesota next season if this team has any balls (i question that right now) they'll make sure they get some payback for this next season

...if Dallas does'nt get its kicking game in order and solve its issues in the red-zone then they'll get beat again...too many red-zone trips and too little points...

...well now that my 'boys are out of this thing i'm i'll be rooting with my wife for the hometeam to sting they ### next weekend when they come to the Superdome...if the Saints don't win that game then i'm gonna call up Bobby and Deke and give 'em the business on wwl...

...as far as running up the score goes...payback is always a #####...it might not come next year but it WILL come...

It was classless. He's just stating the truth.

No need to go for it on 4th and 3 with a play action pass with that little time left and up 24 points.

All these other rationalizations about stopping them is just garbage.

Everyone knows it was unsportsmanlike.

OH Whaaaaaatever. It's professional football. The payroll on the defense is more than you or I will ever see in a lifetime, or 60 lifetimes. There is every reason in the world for Minnesota to go for it. This is the P-L-A-Y-O-F-F-S!! You lose --you're done. Great teams put the nail in the coffin when they can, and MIN hammered that sucker in with authority today, the way it should be done. Think of Houston/Buffalo blowing a 31 point lead. The game is never EVER over until the last whistle blows. If you're clicking, you keep your foot pounded on the damn gas pedal. That's what they were doing, right? I mean, would you feel better if they just handed the ball over? Dallas wasn't conceding a loss...their offense would have come out after a turnover on downs and tried to force it right back down the field to stay in the damn game! Dallas was playing it out, so if MN "gave up," Why wouldn't DAL just quit too and everyone head to the locker room with 3 minutes left and sit around holding hands and have milk and cookies? I think it's more classy to give the defense a chance to stop rather than just handing the ball over. If they come out and attempt a field goal, that's running up the score. Go for a TD? That's running up the score. Handing the ball over? That's even more insulting because their quitting. Bottom line is there's just no good way to get blown out. The better team won. That's it--fair and square. "Unsportsmanlike" was going over and crying to the opposing head coach for you getting your *** handed to you. Where were these complaints when Dal was running up 50+ points on BUF in the Super Bowl or the last 2 weeks against Philly? :bang2:

Notice it's never the team winning that feels they "ran up the score." It's only perspective from sore losers to place the blame on someone other than themselves.

Face it the media hyped up the Cowboys and the Vikings felt disrespected because they were the higher seed and the game was in their stadium. They wanted to make a statement and they did. Plus for Farve this was getting a measure of revenge because he had never beaten the Cowboys in the playoffs and this was his opportunity to rub it in for the 3 times we ended his playoffs.

I never ever wanted any player to be injuried until i saw Brett jumping up and down after that last td. I mean I know it's a game and maybe not injured but maybe have will smith fly off the edge and catch him on his blind side but not injure him badly just enough to have him watch his team lose on the sidelines
