Yesterday Keith Brooking was on ESPN Galloway & Co. show. Galloway on vacation (thankfully) with Ian Fitzsimmons and Matt Mosley Good show with Galloway gone.
The hosts were kidding around about the CBA and Brooking said, as if among friends ... man, my short-term memory has gone downhill the last few years. My wife asks me for something in the refrigerator and when I get there I forget what she asked for. (The hosts' joke was that - everyone would forget what their wife asked for by the time they got there ...)
So then Brooking says, not complaining, that ... hey guys, I'm serious. (Paraphrasing) _ It's not just this incident, but dude, my short-term memory has gone really bad the last few years (he says this with emotion like he's wondering what's going on .... ). Like it's really, scary bad.
It was so dramatic when I heard it yesterday, that I'm glad that Ben & Skin Show (ESPN) replayed this part of the interview on their show this morning.
John-Jacques Taylor had a funny line (on the replay) .. like if your house was 50,000 square feet like Brookings' house, you too would forget what your wife asked for when you had to take your elevator to the mezzanine down to the kitchen and it was a ten-minute walk down there.. (But listening to Brookings talk about it was creepy .. I felt bad for the guy ....)
Brooking in a cool way sounded really scared about it. I was scared too listening to the replay of the interview ..
