The only thing that separates an improbable great play from a stupid improbable crappy play is the success (or lack of success) of the play.
Yeah that’s what I was gonna say it’s a good throw because it was caught. I see why it’s 11 percent because that very well could’ve been a deflection or worse.

Best play from Cooper Rush all game.

Did you notice that Rush threw an accurate pass, flicking it 34 yards while rolling out.
Some people here don't know what arm strength is.
Rush has a pretty decent arm; he just chooses to use it to move the team rather than showing off while missing wide open receivers.
All those "noodle arm" posters have no clue what they are talking about.

it was a good throw, but a better defensive team and that throw had a greater chance of being intercepted. you can take those type of risks against lesser teams like Panthers.
A better defensive team and maybe that throw is not there to make. You can only play who's in front of you. I can't knock a player for something that might not have been successful against a different opponent.

I don't celebrate wins against crappy teams. unlike a few that want to throw parades and can't stop the accolades.

Hes a dak crusading coop hater. Dont waste your time.
If I didn't respond to fans on here who are on a crusade against some player, I wouldn't have anyone to talk to. We have fans who think Dak is the $60 million doom of Dallas, Parsons is some out-of-shape, disappearing jabberjaw who needs to cut, Diggs is a tackle-adverse pansy, Lawrence is a selfish Dawg who is refusing play, Guyton is a coward who refuses to play, Lamb disappears in the second half of games and should be able to play better despite playing through a shoulder injury, Martin is a fossil, Elliott is a paperweight (that one appears to be true), Mazi is a bust despite only being in his second season, Schoonmaker was a terrible pick, etc.

I think the only player who is universally loved is Brandon Aubrey, and I'm surprised that didn't change after he missed the 70-yarder Sunday.

No one is saying celebrate the win. There's nothing wrong with acknowledging a good play by a player, though. In fact, all we really have left this season is evaluating players. Rush is playing to be re-signed as our backup. I'd like better in that role, but we can at least beat lesser teams with him. There is some value in that.

its a good play, but don't color me impressed. does the play need its own thread.....

and yes, I like better at back up. I would have rather we had drafted someone in the first 3 rounds the past three years and bring along. either give true leverage against Dak. or option to trade if they decide to keep Dak.
but we don't do that kind of future thinking. its always year to year.

now there are some who claim, Rush would have gone to superbowl in 2022....this is the level of crazy around this place.

Fans talk about what they want to talk about. There are a lot of threads on here I never would have started, but I see no reason to demean what other fans want to discuss. And don't mind chiming in with my opinion.

I didn't demean anyone. or at least not my intent. but I am not celebrating a single play against an inferior opponent.... that's lowering the bar...
