How so…he was starting over Joseph for a reason. Now we have lost experience down the stretch…

What does that even mean? . . . Obviously Brown was not gonna be replaced in favor of Joseph . . . But you have to factor in the trajectory eacho ones carear

One is an over achiever that was reliable . . . The other is a 5 star athlete that is a project

One was a pleasant surprise that has reached his ceiling but can be relied on to play at that ceiling on the regular . . . The other is your most physically gifted athlete at the position that may turn into a great investment if he puts it all together.

One is a vet and the other is only in His 2nd year.

As far as I can tell that is an obvious decision to play Brown . . . Which is why this is A BLESSING IN DISGUISE

If Joseph is able to jell with the team and even contribute in this year and truly be apart of this special Unit . . . I feel it will go along way in His development which is a positive for this team

When He came in and made that tackle to deny the runner a 1st down I was impressed . . . The runner was slicing through the defense and Joseph stopped Him about a yard or 2 short. . . It was a very solid tackle and I think playing Special teams is elevating his game in that regard.

Even on the TD He had perfect positioning . . . Then I don't remember them challenging Him again (but I may be wrong)

Joseph is ready to take off
It's a long season and CBs are always at a premium. Joseph and Bland have looked really bad at times as well. I would rather have Brown active than not.

Rodgers showed the league how to exploit him . . . we need Joseph's height out there when we play the Eagles

Rodgers only beat Brown on one deep throw and Brown had a concussion on the play and had to leave the game. Then Rodgers feasted on Bland and Joseph the rest of the game while avoiding Diggs. When Brown left the game the score was 7-7. All those passing yards, TDs, and points given up in the 4th quarter and OT were on Bland and Joseph. Hopefully they learned from that game because they looked better last night.

Fair to consider Brown a weak link, but It’s not a good thing at all to lose him.

Joseph has something, I believe there is an upside, but I think most of us haven’t seen it yet. I’m just hoping there will be a lightbulb moment for him and he puts it together. Sink or Swim time for Joseph regardless.

The Joseph hatred is palpable here, but I think that's mostly for his off the field behavior. He is the Trysten Hill of the secondary.

I don't see it as a blessing for the team that Brown got hurt, but it is certainly a blessing for Joseph. The silver lining in the cloud is the Cowboys get a chance to see if Joseph can learn from experience. So far, in the few opportunities he has had to play, he has given up receptions and a few TDs because he has no idea how to play the ball. I think this is a lack of experience, and confidence. But he has shown he has the ability to get on the hip of a WR and stay there. In some ways he is the same as Brown, only with a lot less experience. I don't think many receivers will run by Joseph unless he gets fooled by doubles moves, which he will as an inexperienced player. But he does have great recovery speed.

In retrospect, maybe the Cowboys should have drafted Asante Samuel Jr. But my guess is they liked Joseph's 4.3 speed (he also ran an unofficial 4.28) and height. Samuel was clearly more polished than Joseph coming out of college, but with Lewis, Diggs and Brown already on board the Cowboys always knew Joseph would not have to play right away. We should also keep in mind Diggs had his ups and downs in his first year starting at CB.

What we will see now is if Joseph can turn his physical tools into football skills. We should expect some mistakes by KJ, but look for improvement over the rest of the season. If we don't see any, then the Cowboys will know they need to acquire another starting CB or two in the draft and free agency.

Nahshon Wright has had a few chances to play and has not looked very good at all. Unlike Joseph he has shown little ability to stay with receivers. Whether we like KJ or Wright is irrelevant at this point because it is likely both will see a lot of playing time. We better hope Diggs does not go down too because playing with 3 backups at CB would be a devastating blow to the defense.

Move over and let the young dog play. i love your heart Number 3 but what you lack in stature is a glaring weakness.

The TD was a perfect throw into perfect coverage. . . I like what I seen from Joseph . . . Team got better by subtraction
Joesph looked horrible last night taking Brown's spot at corner.

I liked what I saw from Bland and Joseph... Having a pass rush is the key. Parsons makes everyone better.

Chido is one of the best corners in the league...
I like Chido, but man…..in 2019 repeatedly had WR’s getting big catches on him because he didn’t locate the ball. In the Detroit game that season Kenny Golladay had several of those “flukey” catches against Chido because Chido wasn’t able to track the ball. Coverage was solid no doubt.

Brown is not awesome, but he is far from pathetic. He has been a solid player for the Cowboys.
