Browns 'enamored' with Myles Garrett, could go QB later in 2017 NFL draft

Two things are becoming more clear by the week: the Cleveland Browns will likely have the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft, and Texas A&M’s Myles Garrett is the prospect most worthy of that selection.

It appears the the two could be headed for a late-April wedding.

The Browns are “enamored” with the Aggies pass-rusher, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter:

The Browns have what one source close to the situation described as an “astronomical grade” on Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett, a blue-chip prospect who could dramatically upgrade Cleveland’s defense. The Browns are enamored with Garrett, according to the source.

Cleveland still hasn’t seemed to solve their quarterback problem, which is leading many to believe they could use the top overall pick at the game’s most important position. But they also have an additional first-rounder, as well as an early pick in the second round, either of which they could use on a passer.

If the Browns are indeed targeting a quarterback early, Schefter suggests Notre Dame’s DeShone Kizer could be their target, should he declare early

Mine as well. This year's QB class is horrible. They probably still get the QB they want with their 2nd 1st round pick or even trade up. Get the best defensive player and the QB u want.

This class seems full of EJ Manuels and Blaine Gabberts

I dont know how much of an upgrade any of them would be from Kessler

If thats the truth(haven't scouted any top name QBs this year) then mine as well get Kessler some weapons. I could see a scenario where they get both Myles Garrett and Dalvin Cook in the 1st. Then a Tight end like Jake Butt or Bucky Hodges in the 2nd. Possibly a a top safety in the 2nd.

QBs this year seem extremely risky at the top. Trubiski is talented, but very raw and inexperienced. Kizer may be physically the best QB in the draft but while the defense was terrible, you have to question why he couldnt win more.

I dont think Kessler is awful. I think he is Kyle Orton

That division is kinda weak really. Wouldnt shock me if they won 10 to 11 games with a healthy Romo

Couldn't imagine myself in Browns gear so I think we'll pass Darth. You may not know this but my approval is needed for where my QB ends up next season and it all depends on which gear I will look best wearing. LOL!

If Romo isnt here, he isnt your QB anymore

Prescott is your QB now

On the contrary...wherever he lands I will be rooting for him and his team. He will still be my QB. The Cowboys will always be my team though...
