The good news is, none of those teams are likely to draft McFadden. Unless of course someone trades for their spot. Everyone was so sure Adrian Peterson was going in the top 5, and he slipped a little too.

And as good as Peterson is McFadden is everything Peterson is and more.

Cant wait till this guy starts hitting the weights in the NFL too. McFadden will be a BEAST.

Very true, but it gives other teams the opportunity to leap-frog the Cowboys for whatever player it is that Dallas covets, be it McFadden or someone else. If Jerry has his heart set on one player, he may pony up both number ones to move up. At the end of the day, the Browns need to lose so this isn't an issue. :)

nah. just got out of one thread about the exact same topic and found this one - doing the exact same thing. showing the schedule and asking for predictions.

in the end the only thing that really gets under my skins isn't all the speucation, that's kinda fun. but it's the "mcfadden or bust" mentality that's taking hold. would he be worth 2 #1's? for a spot we're not even hurting at?

when turner is just there to sign if you want him?

we're still way too far away from know what positions we should be looking at. if flo is gone then maybe the Long dude with our 1st pick. i hate to see people so wrapped up in hype that anything *but* that pic would be cause for a failed draft.

could we use a WR? we'll see how glenn does and know from there.
CB? reeves is coming on and henry is telling edunce to FO on a regular basis.
pass rush? lord i hope we don't spend another 1st on a DE/LB tweener combo.
NT? possible unless tank has truly changed.

BPA? maybe, but would that be mcfadden really depending on when we draft? if we trade 2 1's for mcfadden are we BPA or just buying the hype regardless?

cleveland lost, we're getting the 1st pick!
cleveland won, damn them they cost us mcfadden!

the IGS just gets old but i'm doing what i can now to just go by it.

I say sign Michael Turner and draft the best CB and WR we can....

i think that's a very viable option. turner and barber would also be a heck of a duo - even moreso than jj and barber. but i'm just guessing at this point cause we've not really seen turner play consistantly.

it's a great position to be in to not have one or several areas that MUST be addressed. if mcfadden were there with our 1st pick, i'd not be opposed *at all* to taking him.

if it costs us both our 1st round picks and then some, pass. let's BPA around and keep improving the OL and possibly NT/CB. maybe with our 2nd 1st trade down and pick up an extra 2nd and see if sweed slips to us there.

i *love* to speculate around, i just can't see how people get so worked up in 1 player they lose sight of all else but hey - it happens.

Im with you on this...Im not really all that concerned with having a great RB, The offense doesnt need help, I wouldnt be upset if we re-signed JJ and kept the 2 back thing going....Now the defense is the one that needs help, If we can get some cb's and linemen to make our D as tough as anyone else's. Just think if we make our D tough as our O then to hell with the Patriots or Colts...

I say 6-10 at BEST.

Anything is possible, though.

3-13...10-6.

Just get hot and other teams get hurt/cold.
