Cleveland axed blocking TE Robert Royal and starting ORT John St. Clair. Royal could find a minimum-salary role as a blocker somewhere, while St. Clair is flexible enough to play both tackle positions without killing a team and therefore could be a nice fallback for a team fighting injuries, as the Steelers were when they signed Flozell Adams last August

I am looking at guys like Justin Blalock, Jonathan Scott, and John St. Clair who have NFL experience, even as starters, but are mostly backups. They have versatility to play multiple line positions, which is very important for a reserve OL. Well Blalock is a starter again, after coming back from that injury a few years ago.

If we can re-sign Free, maybe Kosier, and add Blalock and another OL via FA, it would give us so many more options in the draft. BTW, when it comes to the draft, the one OL I want the most is Benjamin Ijalana. I also want Darius Morris in the 7th or as a UDFA.
