Browns trade Eagles #2 overall pick

If I'm on the clock at #4 and there is a offensive tackle on the board. I draft an offensive tackle. Otherwise, I'm probably taking a running back even though I don't like taking them that high.

Man, I don't think I'm the only one who thinks these 2 QB's are not that good to be 1 & 2.. I mean I'm not an NFL scout but nothing really impresses me. They seem like average solid QB's.

Incredible news... we will now likely have our choice of any defensive player in the draft or the best prospect in the draft (Tunsil). Meanwhile a hated rival has mortgaged their future for a quarterback scratch off ticket that goes bust 2/3rds of the time. It's a great day.

Chargers talking about trading No. 3 pick. Trading of top 3 picks in same draft has happened 3x in modern draft era. 1967 1975 1997

There's a trend here that we've been discussing.
This draft is considered very strong in the 10-40 range, but not so much in the top 5 or so.
Teams in the top want out and teams moving into the top 5 are getting in at a 10% discount--but that is still very expressive, generally speaking.

But if that QB doesn't bust out and Romo is done in 2-3 years, we just cemented ourselves to getting our brains beat in by the Eagles while we scuffle around for a QB like we did in the early 2000s.
