According to Alex Marvez of Fox Sports, the Eagles and Browns have set the framework for a potential trade involving the No. 2 pick.

Per Marvez, the Eagles would give up first and third round picks in 2016 and 2017. The Eagles are reportedly enamored with North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz and they'll probably have to trade up to No. 2 to get him. Then again, the Eagles have also shown keen interest in Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott, who they might be able to grab at No. 8. If the two sides can't reach an agreement, the Eagles could try trading up to No. 3. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday that the Chargers are shopping their pick.

So Goff at #1 and Wentz at #2? Yeah, "overrated" for sure. "No franchise quarterbacks here folks!" Despite the fact that not one, but two NFL franchises will be giving up two years' worth of draft picks to get 'em...

That will suck if the Eagles get Wentz :banghead:

If they're moving up that far, it has to be for a QB. Or they're so paranoid about us grabbing Ezekiel "Emmitt 2.0" Elliot, they'll do almost anything to keep him away from us. It's the Eagles way, I'm still convinced that half the reason he gave so much to Demarco Murray was about taking him away from us, rather than an actual need for the player.

That's ok. We'll already have our super bowl before he dethrones Sam I Am Bad-ford.

But hopefully this happens. That way we can trade back to number 9 (Tampa) who could really use Tunsil and then we can take Elliot right before the Giants @ 10. Or we could take Tunsil ourselves... don't matter to me

Well this is an absolute guess but Im thinking we liked Wentz and were luke warm on Goff. In any case if we only considered one of the two qbs draftable @4 then at least we are getting the other one out of the way.

We would have either Ramsey or Tunsil fall in our laps. That could be a stroke of luck. Especially if we can develop another prospect for the next 2 years.

Thats ok don't worry about it. No planning ahead at QB; its not allowed. We will just worry about it after Romo retires or is physically incapable of playing anymore. Just dont tell that to the Eagles or the Rams....SHHHH.

A truckload of picks when we become desperate is much better than moving up two spots. That, or relying on the miracle development of a mid-rounder.

I can sort of understand the Rams giving up so much to get what they think is a franchise QB; they could legitimately believe that they're not far from contending.

The Eagles on the other hand- I hope they pay a kings ransom and do move up. Their roster is gutted, and if they lose premium picks it'll only keep them from improving. They have way too many holes.

I wouldn't trust anything coming out right now. This could just be the Browns trying to get other teams to pony up more picks. That's a steep price to pay for Wentz with no major pedigree. I personally think the Eagles are idiots if they do this.....

Pfff. Who needs a Goff or Wentz when you can have a Prescott.

Yeah, sure worked out great for us the last time we did it, when Aikman retired...

But hey, I can't kill the team for not drafting a player they didn't have a chance to draft.
