If they want Elliot then why trade up to #2? They could easily get him at #5 or even where they are now. Nobody has Elliot going inside of the top 4.

Oh, I'll be the last one to say they take Elliott at 2 after a big and ultra expensive trade-up.
I was throwing something out there that would freak people out. Can't imagine Elliot going that early,no.

I believe this rumor. It's probably worked out and just waiting to see if the Rams go Wentz at 1. If not, the Browns logo changes to the Eagles shortly after they go on the clock and at that precise moment we are doomed to spend eternity in football hell.

Pack light.

Then maybe we trade with Browns. we have more picks

You would think it would be QB but judging by their roster, Eagles could use an OL much more.

Silly move by Philly if true. It's truly elementary to obsess about a player enough to trade away two years worth of drafts when you have significant holes at OL, RB, WR and CB. Especially when you already paid two QBs good money.

NFL.com say that San Diego is getting almost the same amount of interest in the 3rd pick as Cleveland is in the 2nd.
That tells you that the best player in the draft, Tunsil, is not being overlooked.

The other reason could be if the Browns stay put, many teams don't think they'll take a QB b/c Hue Jackson is not a huge fan of Wentz.
On the other hand, Philly's new HC thinks Wentz could someday be a stud.
Looking forward to seeing how these two do long term
Will crack me up if they end being the 3rd or 4th best QBs in the class....unless of course, we get one of them :D

Eagles are going to have three guys making a ton. They are a bit cocky after off-loading some bad deals this off-season.

Hey, but how about that 'gutty performance' against the much-hated Commanders? How about how this team showed no quit and went out there and won, even it was for nothing!

Some truly inspiring stuff there...

That's definitely a lot of money to have tied up in the position, even if for only one season of Bradford.

My worst nightmare and I'm not even joking.

It will be my low point as a fan of this team. They get Carsus. We're stuck with a broken down Romo and nothing remotely resembling a quality option for the future.

But hey, it's fun pretending to be an NFL GM.
It's fine. We're going to take a 1 contract player in Elliott.

Elliott, Fuller and Prescott are going to be our next triplets.

They have to be trading Bradford is that's the case. I would sweeten the pot and send him to Clev and he can compete it out with RGknee. Two big 12 Heisman QB's battling it out. Pretty cool when you think about it, but they both stink now.

Look at the cap hit they take trading Bradford right now. It's substantial.

So Goff at #1 and Wentz at #2? Yeah, "overrated" for sure. "No franchise quarterbacks here folks!" Despite the fact that not one, but two NFL franchises will be giving up two years' worth of draft picks to get 'em...

There are morons every offseason at draft time. It doesn't mean it's the right moves. Eagles are some years away so they don't care about potentially failing.

In all honesty, they don't seem to be planning any farther ahead than that anyway so does it really matter? If they really want to go all in with Romo, then they could do much worse than giving him a three down back that can do it all.

In terms of most first year impact, my vote goes to Elliott.

It carries more weight than anything some morons are saying on the Internet. And it means that NFL decision-makers do think that both quarterbacks are worth it.

Eagles are some years away so they don't care about potentially failing.

Or maybe they think it's important to make sure they have a viable option at quarterback in today's NFL?

You can ignore all the signs if you want to, I can't make anyone think.

I'll watch everything that the entire NFL is doing and base my beliefs on those facts. Other people can ignore them and think whatever the hell they want.

Let them give so much up for just one player. No matter what, we're still going to have a great player to pick @ 4. We either get Wentz or Zeke, there's no bad pick here.

If they wanted to go "all in with Romo" where was the free agent spending?
