Isn't he a 'real football man'?
Yea, this is pretty misleading. Especially considering they picks lost after the RGIII trade. This is slightly misleading. If he hits on a rookie and gives them another contract, that’s a 5-6 year deal on top of the 4-5 year rookie deal they had. He’s only been GM for 9 years, so there shouldn’t be many guys on multiple post-rookie contracts.
Trent Williams, for instance, is Bruce’s first ever draft pick. He’s still on his first big contract since his rookie one, so he’s an example of a player who apparently ‘failed to get multiple contracts after his rookie deal.’ What a waste of a pick.
Good point. His draft history is heavily skewed toward later round picks because he's traded a lot of his day 1 and 2's. Those naturally have a lower hit rate.Yea, this is pretty misleading. Especially considering they picks lost after the RGIII trade.

Who on their defense takes the ball away? What WRs do they have? Basic oline with aging Trent Williams. Yeah, you’re the only oneAm I the one that sees the Commanders as a dangerous team if they can somehow inexplicably stay healthy? That defense is loaded with dudes that can get after the QB and can take the ball away. I think they are well put together, with the biggest question mark being coincidentall the most important position on the field (QB).
People forget that they were in position to run away with the division last season before Smith went down.
Not actually. The list stops at 2015 which means this would be the 5-year option for anyone drafted that year. There is only one player on the roster going into this year.
Unless I’m looking at this wrong.
To the point of the OP trading away your day 1 and day 2 picks is not a good way to build a team.Good point. His draft history is heavily skewed toward later round picks because he's traded a lot of his day 1 and 2's. Those naturally have a lower hit rate.
