Bruce Arians on their new acquisition Cory White--

"We'll make sure Cory has a suit and tie for our road trips."

Maybe it's me but when the Patriots cut Chris Harper after he dropped a punt that really changed the Denver game, that sends a specific message on performance to the team. You better catch the ball.

When Cory White is cut because of a suit - it sends a message of philosophy to the team which is fine -- But does philosophy matter without performance?

I don't really care that Cory got cut. But I would've preferred he got cut for blowing a coverage, not a suit.

The guy wasn't good enough to play for one of the worst defenses in NFL history (Saints) and he could hardly see the field for us. I don't see the fascination with the guy.

Also I see that as a joke more than a shot at the Cowboys.

I think it brings up a great point.

And I'd like to know if this was an issue that White was spoken to about, or something that was simply assumed?

If its defiance and behavioral issue? That's one thing. I'm fine with cutting him. But if it's a gutless person using it as an excuse? That I take issue with.

He directly ignored an order from a superior. I imagine he did it more than once.....

This. It was rumored before he was cut the rookie (Olatoye) was outplaying him in drills.

Whatever got him cut, he ought to be working on addressing. If part of that was not observing the team dress code, that ought to be the easiest thing for him to fix right out of the gate.

I could easily look past this season if I thought the coaches were putting our players in a optimal position to succeed.

Does it really matter, CATCH? No matter what our coaches do, you're not going to conclude it's putting them in an optimal position.

The reality is, though, from what I've seen, NFL fans understand what the issue has been in Dallas this season, because it's self-evident.

What's it going to be then, eh?

LOL that's funny.

Arians is not a politician. He tells his players how it is. He's cut players on the spot, practically in front of the whole team to establish it is his team and what he expects. This is a crack on the culture in Dallas, which basically means there is confusion on authority.

I do not necessarily get with the idea that White was canned because of the suit thing, but it is odd that he basically thinks so.

Injuries and terrible coaching.

Those are the two reasons this team is not good this year.

Certain injuries brought out just how bad the coaching actually is.

Anything outside of those two reasons are just people piling on the organization.

Injuries and poor coaching are the chief reasons this team is terrible.
