Bruce Carter. He allowed two touchdowns, was benched for veteran Ernie Sims and is having questions raised about his ability to make plays in the passing game. Carter is an athletic player but looks lost right now.

Holding players accountable and this is a good start. I just don't think Bruce is smart enough to play in the NFL.

Not smart enough? Really you're going there

Yeah, he has sucked this year. Pretty disappointing. I was expecting big things.

Give me a break..

I wonder if Ware will sit out the first series of next game for jumping offsides on 3rd down.

Or if Witten will be benched for dropping that pass

You all wanted the 4-3 defense, well you got it

LOL. Benching a LB'er because he got torched by a faster, smaller, quicker WR 20 yards downfield. HAHA.

That was a chess match in which the SD play-callers completely EMBARRASSED our play-caller. Bench either our DLINE for allowing Rivers the time to exploit the mismatch or fire the d-coordinator, for expecting Carter or any other LB'er in the league (Willis, Bowman, anyone) to cover a receiver like Woodhead 20 yards down-field.

I havent heard much about carter or lee this year. Besides lee's pick 6 yesterday.

Carter can do it. We've seen him do it. On one of the TD's he wasn't burnt. He played as if he had safety help and didn't. And yes Willis and Bowman do guard people as fast as Woodhead. Sometimes they guard slot receivers. And Carter can do it too. Carter isn't Bradie James or Keith Brookings. He's a freakish athlete.

Woodhead starts and plays running back. Not WR. And guess what? He's not any where close to the best shifty quick receiving back we will play this yr

How about the times that Carter missed his assignment on Woodhead or Matthews or Gates and allowed the Chargers to complete an easy 5-10 yard pass?

Blaming the playcalling and blaming Carter for the 1st TD catch is ridiculous. I'll take Carter versus Woodhead. It was a perfect pass and you can't defend a perfect pass.

But, when you allow easy catches all game long because your WILL LB is botching his assignments, there's a problem. There's a reason why Carter got benched. He was repeatedly not doing his job.

Is it possible to bench a Coach? Jerry Jones should bench Garrett, Callahan and that old guy for the design of plays. Having a faster quicker RB being covered way down field by a thick linebacker is a recipe for disaster. Just ask Sean Lee. They forced us out of the Tampa two into man coverage, I guess they out smarted us. So bench those coaches.

One problem with your theory. It didn't help the defense after he was benched, so...........

Players play and coaches coach. Y'all all want a tough hard nosed disciplined team but then wanna complain when the coaches try to do something to instill those values into the team.

It's simple really. Do your job. That's it. Do your freaking job and if you can't then get off the field.

Btw: I am by no means a Jason Garrett supporter. I think he blows and the Dallas Cowboys should never settle for any coach but the absolute best

Rivers threw a perfect pass on the 1st TD. My gosh he dropped it right in there. It's going to happen. Carter is still like a rookie out there and expecting him to defend plays like the first one to Woodhead simply is expecting too much.

Get real. We need to quit coddling these guys. He's a free agent after next season. It's time to produce.

Well you know on this site the opposing team sucks and never makes plays. We should ALWAYS stop them and the opposing team's quarterback never simply makes a great throw. I felt the same way though. Very tough pass to try and deflect. The other one it looked as if Carter thought he had safety help.

He's done this all year long. I think they've told him more then once and he still doesn't seem to get it. Hes been as bad in coverage as any lb that we've had in a while and that's saying a lot.
