I don't love the 2nd round pick. Im fine with 1st & 3rd. I find it hard to believe they don't take a RB somewhere around Rounds 4-5....

Is it need? He's presumably a 1st Rd Grade on many boards (in a draft that's not top heavy). He's not a sexy pick, though he's probably going to best improve the whole of our Offense...... we like individual stars not good facillitators which enable others to succeed.

There is definitely a scenario where Mayer might be the best on the board at 26. I don't like a TE at 26 but I also understand that if they go BPA, Mayer could be that guy.
