With his father and uncles starring at Idaho, he followed in the family’s footsteps and became the Vandals’ starter as a true freshman. Linehan set career-bests as a junior and led Idaho to a 9-4 season, including a bowl win. He started the first nine games as a senior before suffering a season-ending arm injury. Linehan isn’t shy firing the ball into tight windows and adds extra juice when he uses hip torque. He feels the rush and has the feet to climb, but tends to struggle navigating while keeping his eyes elevated. He also tends to predetermine throws, staring lasers through his intended target. Overall, Linehan is a tough guy and managed to do positive things with a subpar supporting cast, but needs to impress in camp to earn a practice squad spot. GRADE: Priority Free Agent
