It is painfully obvious that it will be and they will refer to the defensive heavy draft last year as the reason they felt they could.

I find that hard to believe unless they want to eat 58mil(+9mil more than 2023 cap hit) in dead cap by cutting/trading him next year.
Or they could split it over 2 years but that'll give no relief till june.

IMO Jerry has tied this franchise success to Dak. I doubt he would want to ever risk ever going through the early 2000's of the QB carnival now in his 80's.

Hope he's right. They should cut some of expensive dead weight and use the money to sign some FAs on defense.
