Brugler: Skattebo runs 4.65 at Pro Day

Maybe a 4th round guy. Nothing to get too excited about.

A 215 pound "power back"? Some fans don't know what they are watching.

His jumping metrics were impressive. He's got grit and a little versatility. Late third at best...early fifth round at worst. Could truly contribute, especially if he fights hard on special teams. He's no future star.

Makes you wonder what Jeanty would run. Dude looks a bit chunky and he won't run a 40.
supposedly he ran a 4.42 in high school.

he is clearly gambling not doing either the forty or bench press

we will see how it works out; personally I think in the end all players benefit by doing all they can IF they are healthy.

I really don't like this guy. The player is fine. He'll probably have a decent career. But I just don't like him, personally. Seems like an *******.

Thing you have to look at is the DEs, LBs, and DBs on NFL Defenses are all faster than him. Skateboo is looking at being a 3rd down RB/RB2 at best...think Samaje Perine.

I wonder how scouts and us fans would rate running backs if 40 times were never thought of being used.
Stats, competition and watch game tape perhaps?

He's going to have a great but short career. Sleeping on this kid is an injustice. He's a spark plug for any team. Id love to have him as a change of pace guy. Not a starter.
