I totally disagree. Isaiah Bond is a feisty and tough WR, especially at his size.

He is quicker and faster off the line of scrimmage, plus hardly ever allows himself from receiving a solid and square hit/tackle. Cowboys would be beyond dumb to take Burden over Bond.

Isaiah Bond in 4 games Vs UL-Monroe, Texas-San Antonio, Colorado St , and Miss St (2-10 record) = 17 catches, 273 yards and 3 TD’s

Isaiah Bond in 8 games Vs actual SEC competition + Michigan = 16 catches, 256 yards and 3 TD’s.

And Arch started Vs UL-Monroe and Miss St…hmmm wonder if that could have had something to do with increased production for Bond?

I actually really like him, just like Burden more.

Ewers was bi polar this year. If you go back and watch all of Bonds targets with Alabama he would’ve had 1000 yards with better QB play. Elite speed and easy separator just needs to refine his route running.

As sexy as a stud RB or WR might be, I would looking for a DT3, OT, DE or CB in the 1st and 2nd rounds

While the WR behind Lamb are average at best, I would expect much more from Wingo next year. And, let's face it, the TE's are 2nd or 3rd receivers. With regard to RB, good, well rounded players can be found in the later rounds.

The fact you called Mingo Wingo should tell you all you need to know about how good he is…he’s not good, at all.

Tolbert shouldn’t be starting and Mingo is worse.

We’ve tried late round WRs for years and it’s not working…

DT Graham and CB Johnson aren't going to be there if we're picking anywhere near 15. The RB probably won't be either, but I can never tell with RBs. Some team will probably waste a top 10 pick on him.

The WR might be there. The OT Membou is a mid 3rd round pick according to Tankathon.

☆ashton jeanty,rb
☆luther burden,wr
☆mason graham,dt
☆will johnson,cb

i'd be happy with any of those 4.
i think graham and johnson will be gone by our pick.
jeanty and burden are both play-makers.
you can never have enough of those.

I’m not saying I dislike Bond in general. I’m saying top 20 is crazy.
Smaller WR’s that rely on speed are volatile in general, not being overly successful in college sure doesn’t help confidence in projecting him going forward. And guys have succeeded with FAR worse than Ewers and Milroe.

He’s a better version of Worthy IMO. Sometimes those guys hit sometimes they don’t.

You guys trust McCarthy with these recievers? I don’t. He likes big receivers.
It’s hard to say b/c he’s never gotten to call plays with a quality #2 here.

Bond is an easy separator which is something we’ve desperately needed opposite of Lamb for a while now.

I like these arguments but we won’t really have an idea what the Cowboys will do until they figure out their coaching situation. I still believe they are moving on from McCarthy no matter how they finish.
