so weird seeing him in mocks. He was just a little kid running around when my son played high school ball with his brothers Jordan and JR.

I'm always curious when Dane says stuff because one, I think he's a solid evaluator and two, he works for(with?) the Cowboys directly so some of this is probably what he is getting from inside sources.

Trysten Hill is yet another defensive lineman in the draft I don't get the infatuation with.

I like Bryce Love as a complimentary back with Zeke.

Cominsky seems like a pick we would make. I would not hate it.

Westry can probably be had in UDFA but we like appearing clever.

Overall, not a bad mock.

I bet not a single one of these players will be a Cowboys pick. Sure seems like a mock to throw people off the Cowboys intentions.

So wait, mock drafts from independent observers like Brugler are put out there to throw people off the Cowboys' real intentions?

Tell me more.

He's working for us...didn't you know? Seriously...He's been sworn to secrecy

If he's not a smoke screen they should definitely be interested in Harris at 90 since he was one of the 30 visits.

Meh, like the Thornhill pick, and that's about it.
After what has become a very good off-season to date, I am a little worried that our draft will be very blah...
Without a 1st and so late in each round, will be a struggle to get impact/contributing players beyond # 58. Our scouts and Will McClay will really be earning their stripes this year !
Would take Thornhill, but hope for a better DT prospect than Hill.

Lol.
The Cowboys might be the most transparent team in the NFL when it comes to the draft process. If you look back at poster's Cowboys only mocks the past few years on here, I'm sure you can find quite a few posters who got 2 or more players right in their mocks.

Yup...If you follow the draft close enough...It's so obvious what we are doing this year. It's funny though...I think sometimes they have a plan going into it...but then they can get away from it....like last year. I don't think they ever intended to draft Conner Williams...but they thought they were getting a steal and they took the bait.

Got a bad feeling same thing could happen this year w/ Taylor Rapp...

That 4.78 40 should scare a team to death...

Bryce Love is a great risk-reward pick.
If he is fully healed you are getting a great player that would've been a first rounder after his sophomore season.

I know the player. I’m talking about his 2018 season.

He cracked 100 yards once.

He went from 2,000+ yards averaging 8.1 YPC to just 739 yards/4.5 YPC in 10 games.

He’s got a petite frame and unproven as a pass reciever. Reminds me of Trung Candidate.

Sadly...he is not healed. He doesn't even look like the same player from 2017. :(

Think he is buyer beware. He's gonna have trouble in pass protection...He's not that big.

Kind of reminds me of a guy last year that went undrafted...Akrum Wadley:omg:

He has health issues.

Ran for 2,118 yards his junior season and then tore his ACL in the last game of his senior season. He would have been a high pick after his junior season but continued his study at Stanford to continue his plans of someday becoming a pediatrician.

Love is 21 and will become 22 in July. Had knee surgery last December and we could afford to let him heal 100% having Zeke on this roster.
Todd Gurley was the 10th overall pick while coming off of knee surgery. Dr. Andrews did Gurley's surgery and recovery and is also doing Bryce Love's.

To get him in the 3rd to 5th is a steal. To run for 2,118 yards in a single season anywhere is outstanding. Injury is highly probable when you're the focal point of an offense and are sustaining that level of a workload at a position where contact is inevitable.
