Since it seems like on this board that we tend to blast Bill for not developing a yound franchise quarterback I have a question. Would you rather have Brunell or Bledsoe going into next year? It seems Joe Gibbs hasn't developed a young quarterback either? I wonder what their board is saying?

They drafted their QB of the future (Jason Campbell 1st Round Pick) in last years draft. He will be given every chance to take over that position next year.

Drew Bledsoe in a heart beat. Brunell is to injury prone IMO...

doesn't mean he will, or he's the definite future, same boat we're in

Bledsoe, but Washington does have their quarterback of the future. Wouldn't be surprised to see Campbell start next year.

and you know this how? because Campbell was a 1st round pick? :lmao:

good one hehe

At least he has pedigree. Who do we got? Romo and Henson? I would not have been upset last year if Parcells would have drafted Aaron Rogers.

I'd take Bledsoe. Throughout the game, it seemed like Brunell would just throw it up, and his receivers would make a GREAT catch, and take it 50 yards. If Brunell was in our offense, he would throw an interception every other play...

No because Gibbs has always been able to pick QB's, and get the most out of them.

Tim Couch had pedigree, Kyle Boller had pedigree, Joey Harrington had pedigree, Akili Smith had pedigree, Ryan Leaf had pedigree, Cade McNown had pedigree, Andre Ware had pedigree, and the list goes on

just because you have a 1st round QB waiting in the wings, doesn't mean you have your clear-cut future at QB, shoot, the Pats had their QB of the future in their 6th round pick Tom Brady and didn't even know it

I said they drafted their QB of the future, does not mean he will turn out to be.

Brett Farve, Steve Young, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, Steve McNair, Carson Palmer, need I go on. Most starting quarterbacks are taken in the first two rounds, they're not former baseball players or undrafted free agents. BTW Kyle Boller is finally looking pretty good. In his last three games he showed progress.

we could go back and forth all day, but the fact is, draft status, esp. for QBs, guarantees you nothing, it's about the player, and the development of said player

I'd take Romo OR Henson over Campbell. Campbell is/was thoroughly unimpressive to me at Auburn. Josh Heupel and Jason White were far superior college QBs and neither is even in the league right now, throw in Chris Wienke also.....
Campbell is a career backup and I hope the foreskins waste a year or two finding that out by forcing him to start. Ramsey is a better option for them.

I agree with you. But I'm saying Washington has a much better chance with Campbell than we do with Romo.
