As far as the dirtiest player ever..........Karl Malone, hands down, no ifs ands or buts about it. Stockton is up there too.


DFWJC, Bowen rarely had help when guarding Dirk. Pop would leave him on an island with every teams top scorer, well the ones who were perimeter players. Bowen made everyone work for their points.....

I miss #12......and he will always be one of my favorites of all-time......but not just for what he did on the court, but also all he has done for my hometown. He is pure class, pure humility, and pure awesomeness.

bowen is a super nice guy and yes, maybe a bit of a geek (most of the spurs players are outside of Parker). But once he got into the court, he was an absolute ASSASSIN! he was the kobe of defense in terms of intensity and effort. i do hate those damn bow ties tho! but hey, at least its now become his thing, kind of cool

i just hope leonard becomes half the defender bowen was, if he is even close, we will be in great shape going forward! he is a hell of a lot more competent as bowen's replacement than udoka was! and the kid is only 19! hopefully his name will be up in the rafters 25 years from now

ya, he has a lot of potential as well. Its going to be interesting to see how they perform in the playoffs. Besides injuries, the biggest reason we have had so many playoff failures recently is because guys we had that performed during the regular season, like roger mason jr, jefferson, bonner, etc. just disappear when the playoffs start. If those two kids can at least continue to play as well in the playoffs as they did in the regular season, it will be a huge boost to the teams chances.
