Same goes for the Weeden to Dez end zone throw. Yes it would've been tough, but Dez has gotta make that catch.
100% agree. I'm actually more pissed at Bryant than Williams. Bryant is a true #1 receiver. He has the talent to one day be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. What angers me is Bryant allowing himself to be outmuscled for better positioning by the Washington DB's. Bryant is way too strong to allow that to happen.

It was frustrating to watch I agree but give the rook some credit. He played a good game. I expect Dez to dominate rook's though. If he can't do them he's going to really have fits with Cromartie or Peterson.

It happens even to the God called Megatron. here are some stat lines for megatron last year

4 37 9.3 13 0
4 44 11.0 19 1
3 25 8.3 10 0
3 52 17.3 33 0
4 31 4.31 7 0
and from 2012
5 54 10.8 19 0
3 34 11.3 16 0
3 46 15.3 25 0
5 72 14.4 24 0

Good point
Maybe it is just my imagination but it seems there are several games every year where Dez becomes an after thought
When a rookie is able to blanket you and take you out of your game , that is not a good thing . JMO

I will be surprised if we see a repeat performance out of Bryant this season, namely, being consistently bodied out of position by a DB during a game.

Twill has outplayed dez this year. Granted I'm sure dez is double covered at times just saying.

So, tell me, Gimme, proud son of the Hills of Farmers Branch, how long we will be saying dez is a HOFer and an all-star when he keeps getting overshadowed by Witten and TD Williams?
At some point Dez will half to play like an all-pro and not like some run of the mills receiver. he can be electric and then disappear for the rest of the game.

After the game i was glummly sitting in front of the hookah and mulling in that intospective whey I half about things.

Mein thoughts turned to Dez Bryant and his projection (was it last year?) that he'd turn in a 2,000-yard season. Was it typical Okla St. bravado or did he no something we did not? had he made a secret pact with Romo, walk-on from Eastern Illinois, to get the ball more often. More often than Witten, even?

Mein deep and astute thoughts then turned to Terrence (TD) Williams, who seemingly gets more yards than Dez every game. Seemingly I say because there are games when he half more yards and receptions than Dez. But in reality, Dez has 620 yards and Williams half 407.

But Williams do half 6 TDs to Dez's 5 and Williams also half a 16.3 average to Dez's 12.9.

Clearly, all you fine mens and womans here consider Dez our star, our receiving workhorse, our prom party crasher who everybody love.

Yet, I wandered further, what happen when Escobar comes into his own? What happen when Witten, at the sunset of his career, axes Romo to gift him more thows? When TD Williams, on the cusp of greatness, axes Romo to gift him more consideration in balls thown his way?

And what happen when Dez finally blows up on the sidelines. Mr. We Be the Best in the NfL. Mr. 2,000-yard receiver. Mr. Bling Put it on My Account.

Could Dez be getting antsy with his production and role?
Could Williams be in line for even more thows as another tall and gifted receiver?

Well, these are thinks to thing about.

I keep watching TD Williams and like him more and more. And presumably Garrett, Jerra and et al like him more and more.

As long as we can keep Dez, Williams will keep pushing him, and that is a good thing.
But one day down the road, if we do not franchise him, Dez might want to go to a team with a younger QB who likes to thow to his big guy.
That time is a long whey off, I know.
But this is grist for the gristmill and something to chew on as we bite away the bitter taste of last night.

I like Dez. I just wonder about his emotional limits. Can he show satisfaction like Mick Jagger or does his star power demand more from Romo and less to Williams and Witten. Mein gott! Even Murray half shown ability to catch the ball.

Discuss but do not fight.

You are one of my favs Gimme.

Have I told you lately that I love you?
Fill my heart with gladness,
Take away my sadness,
Ease my troubles, that's what you do?

I speak of Bryant's potential. Additionally, Bryant has put together some some notable gameday performances already during his career, which will finally wrap up many many moons in the years to come.

I dont know why they are going to pay Dez big dollars this off season, they still havent figured out how to get him more involved in the offense on a consistent basis. Dallas seems to forget he is even on the field for large portions of the game. What I cant figure out is why, is he just not getting open, are defenses keying on him or is Romo just not feeding him when he is single covered. Id love to see what some one with all-22 access has to say.

You didn't watch the game, evidently.

I watched Dez struggle the entire game. I also watched Terrance miss a bomb. I watched the entire game and I watched as you would have too if you were paying attention Terrance Williams catch the six other balls thrown to him. Read the stats Williams missed 1 ball that was targeted to him. So I again ask you... "why make a statement that is false?"

My $0.02 on this is since last season he <seems> to lost some his speed that was evident in the first 2-3 years of his career.

It hasn't been a huge drop in speed, however, I think it has been noticeable. His stats show evidence of it also -- his yards per catch from 2012 on look like:

2012: 15.0
2013: 13.3
2014: 12.9

His yards from 2012 to 2013 also went down and are on pace to go down again this year.

I don't know if it's the back issue that first reared itself at the end of the 2012 season and came back last year or what, however, I don't see him running away from people as much and I don't see him getting quite as much separation.

That doesn't mean he isn't a very good WR, however, it does make me wonder if he'll ever be the monster 1500+ yard receiver I thought it would become.
