I've heard this about every team that gets "disrespected" by the media.

I have never heard someone say a particular team plays worse with a chip on their shoulder, or that a particular team plays best when everyone is praising them.

No, they don't.

Eagles and Chiefs should be 1 and 2 in no particular order. NE is overrated just because they lucked their way to the past SB win (Chiefs were the better team last year, but got some bad calls and lost the OT coin toss, and the Saints would have beaten them if not for that blown call in the championship game) and are bottom of the top 5 IMO. Eagles have the best and deepest roster in the NFL.

Yup, respect is earned. How many remember all those years Washington was crowned paper champions only to do absolutely nothing when the games actually counted. Until Dallas can show they belong, being given respect is more of an insult than a compliment...
 
Jimmy Johnson and Bill Parcells were great at keeping this team grounded.

You want to know how to make a Garrett team fail miserably? Tell them how great they are and that they're favorites to win the SB...

I think it's laughable that anyone would put Prescott in the same ballpark as Wentz, much less compare them.
 
They have the Cowboys as the 5th NFC team, which is exactly where I have them. And power rankings are ridiculous, this isn't college and one of the dumbest things they started.

If Zeke misses time this year, or sits all year, l can see Jones using it as ANOTHER excuse to keep Garrett. Puppet coaches are apparently hard to find...
