Green committed at least half a dozen uncalled false starts in his first start last season. I hope this is something the coaching staff is aware of and correcting.

I have the utmost faith in Collins

The Pigs were never as good as the Dallas O line of the 90's and frankly I do not see them as good as the current Boys O line. A poor third.
Yeah, they were. They won three Super Bowls (Dolphin, Broncos and Bills) and played in a fourth. And they did it with three different quarterbacks.

This team must win a Super Bowl before I start comparing with any of the great offensive lines, and this includes the Raiders of the 70s, the Giants of the 80s, the Commanders of the 80s and 90s and our Cowboys of the 90s.

BS. That O line was very over rated. Had nothing to do with the rest of the team - and by the way two of those wins were in strike seasons so frankly they deserve an asterisk.

Mankind should be offended by a bunch of grown ***, middle age men wearing dresses, wigs and rubber pig noses to a football game.

I'm still in therapy...........

Why is Newy Scruggs wearing a Cowboys hat? Because he was talking to Chris Miller and Doc Walker at Comcast Sports Net Mid-Atlantic about the Dallas Cowboys.

Scruggs was the guest on Wednesday's edition of Countdown to Training Camp, when Miller asked if the Cowboys' revered offensive line could end up as the second coming of The Hogs -- the offensive line of the Washington Commanders known for their ability to control the line of scrimmage in the 1980s and early 1990s.

Scruggs stood up for the Cowboys (see video above) – "We've already had a great wall in Dallas that won three Super Bowls, OK?" Scruggs said with a tone that was a mix of annoyed and incredulous. "Why can't they be that next version? Let's not compare them to something that's over in Washington."

At the end of their post on the topic, CSN Mid-Atlantic instructed Commanders fans who wanted to stick up for The Hogs to tweet @NewyScruggs and he heard a handful of smack talk on his post.

We like the fun @KrisGutierrez had with Newy before his live talkback.

We're ready for football, how about you?

I'm anticipating this year's version of the Dallas OL will be a work in progress, although I think it should prove to be at least the equal of what it was in 2016. By year's end it shoud be even better.

If either Cooper, Green or both of them become steady performers at LG, it would seem most likely that the overall OL should improve at least, incrementally, over what they were last year.

Like most of us, I expect La'el to perform more solidly than what Free did for the last several years and perhaps ever than he ever did, for that matter. OL depth, in and of itself, should be much better than it has been in a very long time and then some.
Dallas OL will be better this year than last year !!!! And That's No BULL :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Overrated by whom? The unit is known by its very name, the Hogs.
And that unit manhandled Randy White and company on a NFC Champion Game.
And so what if they won in two strike seasons? They went to the Super Bowl in two non-strike seasons too.
They weren't overrated. You're not overrated when you do it four times.

Nice explanation the scheme is the 12th man on offense.

Yo, let's hear it for the 12th 'man.'

OK, let's throw in another Commander apologist...

Well, Charley Casserly has had enough of that idea and responded.
"9 sacks in 19 games. Let me know when the Cowboys give up 9 sacks in 19 games and win a Super Bowl," Casserly said. "That's unheard of!"

Casserly is right, the Cowboys offensive line may be great, but they can't compare to those stats. He also piled on about the level of compeition the Commanders faced in the division that year.
"There's no one in the league right now who compares to Reggie White, Lawrence Taylor." Casserly added.Oh, Newy. You've gone and upset Charley.

Casserly, for those unfamiliar, was the Commanders General Manager from 1989-1999 and helped create the vaunted Hogs and was the architect of that 1991 offense he was referencing.
