News: BTB: Cowboys’ Brice Butler finally earning some respect

Butler is a scrub. This will happen week 1........close game, Dak drops back and sees this bum single covered vs a giant cb and throwsdeep, butler jumps up for the ball and bumble fumbles DROP. He then gets up clapping his hands as the db does the incomplete gesture. That scrub never made a contested catch in his life. At least Williams does something well (run after the catch). What does butler do good??????? He still gets no respect

I thought the Brice Butler hate this offseason by some folks was one of the weirder offseason trends.

Bryce Butler is entering his 5th year in the NFL and is 27 years old.

I don’t get the WR2 talk... I think he is a nice WR4 and in all likelyhood that is all he is ever going to be. I am ok with Butler as a top notch WR4.

Yup, my issue is the wr 2 talk. He's not good enough for that and it's funny hearing fans say he's better than Williams

Does it even matter really? Butler won't stop the team from looking for talent, as they have proven in this draft alone, so why bother "capping" him as a fan? Especially at that position.

I mean what is a WR4 anyway? Just not a starter?

i had liked Butler and while i wasnt convinced he could beat out TW, i had hoped he would give it a better run. He did this last season, good in pre season not as helpful in the regular seasn. Lets see if he can at least be solid in the season.

Been saying he can play. He's finishing now and getting better separation. Good #2 but brings different things than Williams.

Brice needs to be starting outside, opposite Dez.

Oh and T-Will is trash, time to upgrade

I think he's a tick better than a scrub.

He just doesn't have that football mentality.Not willing to leave it all on the field, IMO.

I'm starting to notice after every catch he's raising his hand, wanting to go to the side line. He alligator-ed a crucial catch against Greenbay right after he got that stupid penalty.
