The Cowboys lock up one piece of their plans for the 2017 defensive line.

According to Todd Archer, the Dallas Cowboys tendered an offer to exclusive rights free agent David Irving for the 2017 season, ensuring the defensive lineman will be on the roster. Irving will get $615,000 this upcoming year and the Cowboys remove the possibility of him becoming a free agent.

Irving is a key piece of the Cowboys defensive line, a player with enormous potential and who had a few outstanding games in 2016.
