Unfortunately (or maybe not so unfortunately), this means that the most important members of this organization are those who evaluate and acquire players, instead of the individual players themselves. Players come and go, but the members of the front office are here as long as we continue to pay them.
Luckily for us these days, we're not doing so bad in this area.
Nowadays, where you win in this league is pretty much in the admin/coaching. Players don't get to stick around all that long. It seems like as soon as players get adjusted to the game and start playing in a quality fashion, they are up for a contract and teams will pay exorbitant prices for great players, so you can only hold on to a handful of long-termers while everyone else is shuffling around. Thus, it's most important to have quality coaching, great gm and scouts and a strong 'core of players', especially at qb.
