I try to be smart and deliberate in everything that I do. That is the ethic that I try to live by. I get that I come across as a pedantic jerk particularly with how I write in declarations but that doesn't mean stupid is a virtue, ice.

You've been coming on here for several years now complaining about millennials and their 'entitlement' and other traits. It's not like I harass you about it because it is a central theme in what you write here and this is the first time we've butted heads over this. I don't care to delve into why you do what you do. as for my treatment of "millenwhatever" you're gonna need to get over it. i never even realized the term until the other day when i saw said article above and others termed the kid a "millenial".

i've complained about entitlement but not to a specific segment but to ANYONE who feels they are owed **** because they exist. that goes to everyone alive so classify that as you will.

and catering to a mindset - you mean like your own personality and it's...quirks? if you want to think i'm self serving and divisive go ahead. i think screaming YOU OWE ME SOMETHING CAUSE I"M ALIVE is just as divisive.

so, will you please stop being you and i'll stop being me? this could be fun in the offseason.

You really need to try and be dispassionate more often.

Your narrative is all about the "IGS Society" as you have termed it over and again and the "new generation" that is the cause of it. You rationalize it in terms of "college students" that want "their college tuition free." Or "kids that think they can control the music industry." You can hammer yourself the victim all you like but I am talking in objective terms that any reasonable person can see. You say all of those things almost more than you talk football around here.

then you just need to pay attention. i said the IGS are the people who want "instant gratification" and yes, i coined that term. sue me. however, i never said the new generation was the cause of it. i see people all over want it and want it now. lately yes, i've seen stories about a girl who demanded college for free and yes, i read an article where the kid said their generation killed the music industry. yes, i thought they were both stupid.

and you're making me the victim. i'm just stupid for continuing to talk to you about it. you see me as you need to so have fun, just get over it and get back to harping on someone else. my givea**** just ran out on us here. and if my posting bugs you - ignore is just a few steps away.

No, I'm making you out to be the guy that reflexively gets angry about the young as well as the traits you associate with them and fixate on it. You would be the oppressor in that scenario.

You can try and present your counter narrative and I won't disagree that you say that too but that is not all you say and you know it. How about you directly deny the things I have quoted and I go show them from this thread?

Comp picks can be traded starting in 2017 draft.....................the 2016 draft comp picks are under the old rules and are not tradable.
 
So we basically are getting a 4th for Parnell and 3 6th rounders thrown in.

that gives us 9 draft picks overall..............not bad, not bad at all..........especially considering how we pissed away some picks for Cassel and CM.
 
If the Cowboys pick up Johnny Manziel, draft a blue chipper, and then use their wealth of comp picks to hop back into the first round the take Carson Wentz, I'd be delighted.
