BTB: Life After T.O.: Contrasting Terrell Owens vs. Roy Williams

Im not saying he has worked hard in the past because I don't think he completely has but by all accounts he is preparing to be in the best shape of his life this offseason.

The working out as hard as Owens comment doesn't really bother me considering Owens is a workout phenom and thats why 99% of 36 year old players still aren't one of the fastest guys on the team at 230 lbs.

Nobody works harder than Owens and thats where he was going with that comment.

Not "im a lazy bum".

ooh I get to use this smiley :hammer:

"That's my boy, but we don't work out (together). We probably never will work out (together). He may work out a little too hard for me."

Sorry, but this bothers me...he is either a) a little lazy or b) dumb to make a comment that insinuates he doesn't have great work ethic.

Romo just needs to trust Roy cause unlike 81 Roy will actually fight for the ball.

Maybe in Detroit, but I didn't see any of our receivers fight for **** last year.

So, we've kept the guy with a questionable work ethic and no game-breaking speed who doesn't talk too much and let go of the guy with a great work ethic, game-breaking speed, but can't keep his mouth shut.

Couldn't we have just cut out TO's tongue or sewed his lips together?

He would have lost the ability to play football. You know kind of like Samson's hair.

I think Roy will be fine, especially since he's the go to guy. If he stays healthy he will put up some great numbers. Unfortunately I think his poor route running had more to do with the lack of passes coming his way. With hundreds of balls coming his way this season watch his routes get crispy.
