I don't understand the premise of that article. It doesn't make any solid points on why he won't be playing for the Cowboys. Then I gave up reading it when they talked about trading him.
The article was nothing more than a waste of time to read. BTB needs to do better than that.
"What if Greg Hardy..... never actually played for the Cowboys, man?"
That article was just off-season nonsense. It's been a great 7 days for the Cowboys organization and people are ready to jump ahead, because we all know that all the rookies that were drafted/signed/etc will be All-Pros immediately and will remain healthy throughout an entire NFL season and we should be start trading/cutting any player that might be standing in their way. That article makes as much sense as some of the fickle fan posts, ready to discard an old toy for a new one.
I'm just as excited about the potential on this team, but right now, it's just that, potential. These rooks haven't even practiced in pads, much less played a game, so people need to put down the anointing oil and take a couple steps back
Everyone's favorite player who hasn't gotten a chance, Ben Gardner, is ready to take his shot. Jack Crawford was off to a good start last season before he was injured. The team also has Kenneth Boatright, Lavar Edwards, and fifth round pick Ryan Russell that might be part of the mix. If Dallas can find five good pass rushers from that group, then why would they need to pay the high price per game for Hardy?
This guy makes some good points. When a team's roster is loaded with all these quality options, you have to wonder how much more talent is useful.
Good article, but I preferred his "If the Cowboys knew they were going to be able to select David Arkin and Bill Nagy, would they still have drafted Tyron Smith?" masterpiece from a few years ago.
Everything on that site is unbearably pretentious nonsense.

I typically wouldn't mind it because it would there is a balance with pesimists. But whether you are a homerific optimist or a can do no right pessimistic, you need to present a valid argument or reason why to be optimistic about a player. Not just are practice squad level guys are amazaballs just because go cowboysbtb literally has the biggest homers I have ever seen.
They are also group think pushersbtb literally has the biggest homers I have ever seen.
