Buckeye Five keep their word, stay in school

The next announcement will be that their suspensions have all been reduced.

Who is the starting QB next fall?

Knowing Tressel, it will be Bauserman. I'm not too excited about that, because he's pretty terrible, but Tressel will almost always go for the experience. Maybe Guiton improves a lot over the spring, or perhaps Braxton Miller really shows something, but chances are really high it'll be Bauserman.

Miller or Graham I hope.

God I hope it's not Bauserman...sorry...he sucks.

I'm praying Miller comes on strong...if not Guiton or Graham.

One of those guys should beat out Bauserman.

Spending the holidays in Dayton, I had the chance to speak with a couple of local football fanatics. Both told me they saw Miller several times and said there wasn't any doubt he would be the starter.

Always a good question in Buckeye land.

Although Pryor may change things, I can't ever recall OSU having a top end NFL starting QB.

It's just odd how certain schools produce certain postions in the NFL. The Bucks seem to have produced quality NFL starters at every single position except QB.

They have had some very good college QBs though. Maybe Troy Smith will get another shot.

I think so too from all I've heard and seen of him.

Pryor was starting by his 4th game as a Freshman and that was with a better senior QB (Boeckman) ahead of him than Bauserman is.

Don't see why if Miller is all they say can't be the starter for the opening game.

Schlichter could have been...if not for his raging gambling problem.

I thought so too. What a waste.

A LONG time ago, they had two of the greatest option QBs of all time in Cornelious Green and Rex Kern. Green was unbelievable.

I think it would be quite dumb not too. The suspension hurts you. Another year helps diminish that. They would be fools not to return.
