Zeke got his money. No one is interested in starting him. It shows a whole lot about what league minds actually thought of him the last couple years. They see a good blocker and a power runner, not a game breaker and not a true difference maker.

His market is established. The only way he gets more is to go to a perfect fit and ball out.

We have no idea what the NFL and teams think of him. Only in fans finds that don't like him they want it to be true.

As for Zeke going to TB, and if Skip Peete is there, good luck. Twice in his time at Dallas he has never seemed to develop any RB's.

Actually I would be ok if he went to TB. I would root for them, except against Dallas.

At this point in his career, I think Zeke would make a solid fullback: power runner, exceptional blocker, goal line asset. Question is would he accept the change and the ¢hange?

Did he talk to him about not making those summer workout videos? Maybe training with offensive lineman so he never gets blasted again? I guess all those year of him being the best blocker in the RB spot, we figured he could block as a center!!

He may sign somewhere after training camp when someone gets injured in pre-season. Best way to maximize his earnings at this point. Otherwise he’s getting minimum salary.

I dont see anyone tripping over themselves to sign him. Great players rarely sit around discussing back up roles.

Nothing against Zeke. I always supported him in Dallas, but the writing is on the wall.

The fact that he’s been available and unsigned for months says it all. Heck, I like him and would take him back on the cheap and I can clearly see that.

Yeah. I don’t know how the guy continues to get work.

If he’s going to be a cheap backup, I’d just as soon see him do it here. In an offense he knows, with coaches, ownership, and teammates that he knows as well.

I think he’s a better option than Malik Davis, Ronald Jones, or the other low end backs Dallas has.

Just my opinion.

The reason that he’s can’t necessarily do that here is because of the relationships. In locker room culture it’s hard to go from high paid leader to vet minimum backup.

Similar to the Dez and Witten situations. They both could serve roles, but it’s probably best if they did so with another team. You see this all across the league with aging players who once played huge roles on their teams, doesn’t make sense within the locker room hierarchy and structure to have a former leader and top guy try to just be a ho-hum lunchpale guy.

What Skip is saying is good leveling with Zeke. It's probably tough to hear that when you've been the guy at every level then not in your late 20s. It's probably why he hasn't signed anywhere as he comes to grips with it. Zeke will absolutely have options if he's OK being the #2 for minimal salary, if not then he probably won't play.

$$$ and pride is the only thing holding up a Zeke signing.

LOL.........Zeke still thinks hes a 12 million dollar back? That is hilarious!!!

And his supporters try to defend and say he didnt demand carries over Pollard. Laughable. This guy thinks hes god at the RB position. Completely delusional.

At this point, I think we know EXACTLY what NFL teams think of him.
