Possibly. But a lot of players are driven to play despite the millions they've made. I don't know if Elliott is one of those or is OK with calling it quits at this point. I do think, though, he's one of those who still thinks he's got some good years left. I mean, Emmitt did when he left for the Cardinals. Learned he didn't and retired. This isn't a pride or ego thing. Its a "do you want to walk at age 40" thing. If I was in that position, I don't think I would do it. Zeke has charisma and a following. Shouldn't be hard to turn that into an analyst type role somewhere.
He might be getting offers and just rebuffing them because he figures they just aren't worth it.
