too short, Dallas wont draft him.

Drafting based on size is pure stupidity. Great players come in all sizes. Parcells Planet Theory is obsolete, Jimmy proved that. And there have been great players who are less than ideal height/weight: FS Earl Thomas, QB Russell Wilson, TE Delanie Walker, CB Darrell Green, LB Sam Mills, DE Elvis Dumervil, DT John Randle, DT Aaron Donald, SS Bob Sanders, LB Jatavis Brown, FS Tyrann Mathieu, SS Troy Polamalu, RB Darren Sproles, DE Bruce Irvin, FS Thomas Everett etc.
He's a liability in coverage. I think you are seriously overrating his leadership skills. Can't be a leader when you are constantly 7 yards behind the guy running into the end zone.
His height shouldn't be the worry...it's his weight that is the issue. 5'10 wouldn't scare me, but under 190 pounds sure would. Not that he would be incapable of playing at that weight, but more how long could he possibly last? Bob Sanders career lasted all of 2 years, honey badger has been in the league 4 years and is averaging about 12 games per year, Polomalu was constantly banged up and missed a lot of time, Jatavis Brown missed 6 games this year...making an impact as an undersized player certainly is possible, staying on the field in today's game undersized on the other hand? Not impossible, but it is unlikely. The cliche about availability is definitely true.
Hopefully Buddy is stuffing his face with good food and hitting the gym so this isn't an issue though. If he can show up to the combine at at least 195 it should alleviate a lot of these concerns.

If the tape measure says BB is 5'9 5/8, do you still like him this much?
Agree or disagree if you look at the the way Dallas drafts DB, theuve always valued size.
Orlando Scandrick? Mo Claiborne? Terence Newman? Kenny Gant? Clayton Holmes? Alundis Brice? Omar Stoutmire? Dwayne Goodrich? Kareem Larrimore? BJ Tucker? Jamar Wall? Josh Thomas? BW Webb? Size only became an issue with Parcells. Tuna is not buying the groceries anymore. Or are you really saying that Cowboys would not have drafted Earl Thomas because he was 5'10?
You forget one who played here that was pretty good, Thomas Everett 5:9 190.Drafting based on size is pure stupidity. Great players come in all sizes. A lot of the players on your list are not good examples.Drafting based on size is pure stupidity. Great players come in all sizes. Parcells Planet Theory is obsolete, Jimmy proved that. Don't care that he makes plays. Not SPARQy enough.too short, Dallas wont draft him.

Earl Thomas weighed 208 pounds when drafted.
Walker is basically a 240 pound receiver
Dumerville weighed about 260
Randle and Donald weighed about 290
Bob Sanders was too small to hold up to the rigors of playing in the NFL
Polamalu was 207 pounds.
Sproles has never started more than 6 games in a season.
Bruce Irvin is a LB that has been used a pass rush specialist at DE. He is 6-3, 250 which is bigger than average at LB.
Tyrann Mathieu is the best example. He is well below both the average height AND weight of an NFL Safety at 5-9, 186.
Budda Baker can probably be a good NFL Safety, but durability would be the biggest issue. His size is probably very similar to Mathieu who is a FS. Projecting Baker to SS seems like a problem.
BB was saying on the draft show that Will McClay hates drafting shorter DBstoo short, Dallas wont draft him.
Seattle was good because they could cover and rush the passer. You don't need big hitters in the secondary with the way the game is played now. Covering, tackling and playing the ball are much bigger priorities than someone who lights people up.
